So glad you were able to save them!!! Have you ever had an issue with rust on your plumeria? I recently bought a couple plants from a nursery and unfortunately being late summer in Florida we’ve had a lot of rain. Now my leaves are consistently turning yellow and shriveling up. They have the little rust colored fungus spots under the leaves. Any advice??

Awesome! I’m wondering if I should cut or treat mine. The tips aren’t black but most of the new growth develops brown spots that almost look like burns.

I grow my plumeria in a pot and I noticed that the tiny new shoots of leaves stopped growing for about a week now. They are not turning colors or wilting, but just stopped growing. The fully grown leaves are looking dry and wilted, some of them are having black edges. I checked the root two days ago and rinsed it, only found very sparse and few rotting roots towards where the wall of pot is, so I removed those bad roots and put the plant back. What should I do now?

They look beautiful! I was wondering if you could help me. One of my plumerias seems to look dry towards the root. It isn’t root rot, but I’m not sure if it’s sun damage?

Hi there! I have one who I've nursed through stem rot and this winter it dehydrated badly when I brought it inside and also developed tip rot. It's firmed back up after establishing the new season's roots, but the tips where I pruned it seem to be dying back slightly...certainly more than I'm used to seeing after pruning. I haven't seen any new leaves start yet this spring, but I know the roots are drawing water. Is there anything in particular i should do (or avoid), or just have patience?

When you want to root them what do you use to get it started and do you just plant them in the dirt? I usually bag root in perlite cococoir mix or just perlite.

Hello, I hope you don’t mind my asking: I have managed to root a plumeria cutting (which I bought), it’s quite firm in the pot, but there are no signs of leaf growth. Can you tell me how long one normally waits from roots to leaves? Thank you, I hope you can help me. (I’m in the UK so I will have to keep my plumeria in my greenhouse.)

What do you do if your dog chews off the leaves and nibbles on the end of the plant. Mind hadn’t bloomed yet and is only about 10 inches. Do I trim the end where the dog got to it?

So glad I found your channel...my beautiful pulmeria stays inside in her own bedroom but noticed she has black tips...I will cut her and do what you did with yours...my question is do you water them after you pot them or do you just wait and do you leave in sun or put in greenhouse...also how low temperature can a pulmeria be outside in...she's in a pot and I live in High Desert in Pinon Hills...thank you for any help or suggestions..

I saw on another video you are not supposed to water the inflow enflow? Or where the flower blooms start to shoot out, is that true and did I ruin my only plumeria? Looks like mine is still getting leaves out fine but the flowers are for sure turning black before bloom and dying off. Did you just cut the tip (tops) off and allow it grow back?

As long as its just water it'll be ok..remember they do get rainded on.. just don't use fertilizer on the blooms

I got some cuttings my neighbor today is November 2, I live in Downey California near you. I was wondering if I should put them and put them in a greenhouse which I want to purchase,or should I dry them out and plant them beginning of spring I'm confused don't know what to do.
@philatv4 жыл бұрын
hello, i would make sure the ends dry out then i would plant them in black pots with a good watering and put them somewhere where the soil will stay warm and let them somewhat dry out and they should come back to life in the early spring

Hi. Mine had a rot at the bottom somehow so I was forced to cut if off which I was told to do. Sadly I didnt catch the rot soon enough as it almost reached the top of the plant. Now I have less than 3 inches left that's healthy. I repotted it but sadly I feel it's gone.
