I like the analogy for the cloud formation. There is no birth or death of the cloud. It is always there in different forms, as water vapor, as rain, as water in our lakes, rivers and oceans...This is the same as what we perceive as life and death; it is a continuation.
@johnrandallhofheins74744 жыл бұрын
Because there is no birth or death. There is no form. All that is, is spirit.....one spirit. When we realize this as the only basis, the only Reality....everything makes sense as it really Is. As Reality actually is in essence, Then everything naturally is synchronizing together effortlessly. Otherwise we operate from temporary ignorance. We see the essence of life now when we surrender our human mind perspective about reality. That human mind perspective is the basis of samsara, and ignorance, suffering. What Thay is pointing to is Life that would correlate to what the Bible says in hebrews 11:1-3...faith IS SUBSTANCE , all that is visible ismade of whay is notvisible; to what Jesus said "wind blows where it will, dont know where it comes from nor where it is going, so IS EVERYONE who is born of God " john 3. There are many hidden hints of how things really are, in Bible, but one has to open the eyes of the heart in order to see. Same thing Thay assumes as a basis of understanding of what he is talking about. Peace and love

Wow. This really opened my eyes. I’ve always gone through life saying I didn’t need to know what my purpose was…. It was always what I didn’t like about organized western religions. But I viewed the experience of life through the way the world presented itself to me. (Seeking happiness, love, avoid pain, avoid loneliness, etc). And here is is explained. There is no purpose…we just are. And to be fully present, we need to experience everything willingly and with wonder. I have such a long way to go…but today was a huge revelation. Thank you for this. And thank you Zannie.

Thank you first for your lessons of loneliness. Loneliness is a feeling that everyone experience. I feel that the only way to not feel so lonely is to have love in your life, to know Gods love for you to be full of the holy spirit, And of course to have companionship someone that you love and they love you. Yes the real connection is to know yourself first and make peace with yourself and love yourself first. Not everyone one has companionship there are millions of single people in the world. But yes there well be days that one feels loneliness but think positive and count your blessings We are only human and try not to look back , look forward with hope. Every day is anew day. One day at a time please.☺

I understand your point. But that’s less of a connection and more just access to listen. Truly connection with him would be sitting with and having an understanding connection. Truly connecting with someone over technology is difficult because it is not in the moment. The way we converse over technology is not as intimate or honest as looking someone in the eyes. ❤️

You feel connected, which is good. I first became connected (to myself? to the desire to connect with others?) through the Occupy Movement. But he is not connecting with you at the same time, so it's not actual connection; more of an access to knowledge. I worry that people put a little too much faith in technology, is all. :)

@@kathrynbresser3991 It all starts with breathing. When your mind starts to race or if you feel in a state of emotional pain. Stop thinking and bring your awareness to your breath. Breathe in through your stomach. Low breathes. Breathe deep, release slowly. Do this while walking if its easier. Watch Sam Harris' video on connecting with the self, its a very good meditation video that helps one experience oneself differently. Think of others more. Be aware of their suffering. Know that everyone suffers. Search up Buddha's story about the two darts of suffering. 'when you know how to suffer, you suffer much less.' Hope that helps.

Yes the Buddhists actually talked a lot about fear . It is one of the worst things ... and they actually believe that fear or too much of it can cause a person to reincarnate in the animal realm ... this is one of the reasons it's so important to overcome fear . Yet we have so many people around the planet being very fearful right now with everything that's going on and the price of food and petrol and it seems basically the price of everything going up and up . People are worried that we're going to have a nuclear war because of Putin and a few others . Yes many people are fearful

Loneliness is not just about being all alone physically though that can be the case for some people. A human being is not meant to be alone as we are gregarious creatures, just like a pod of dolphins, a flock of birds, a school of fish or a colony of penguins. How can we ask for a human being to learn to live and be satisfied alone. In another way of looking at loneliness, a person can be surrounded by family and friends but if they do not share the same values, thoughts etc., of that person, he or she may feel loneliness.

I'm also here grappling with loneliness. I guess, the first 20 minutes or so Ven. Thay is establishing the fundamental need to connect with ourselves before we attempt any real connectedness with others. He stresses that unless we're at home within ourselves we can never feel real and lasting connectedness with others. That's the central idea and I think the rest of the talk is 'theory' leading to it.

I’m w you as I know many who are. I support you to remember who you truly are, and remember to balance touching your pain and cultivating compassion w touching your joy and cultivating Love. That balance is very important. I focus on remembering who I am, remembering what Life is abt and what the nature of Life is, and focus my intention as much as possible on trusting Life, however it looks and feels when it appears, and bringing as much insight love compassion and acceptance to each moment as I can. Even if I’m bringing that to the part of me that cannot trust life will not trust life and doesn’t understand a thing abt it. Especially then. You’re doing great work for all of Life by learning to dissolve and clear these patterns of consciousness. And it will serve your unfolding, especially as you learn to flow more effortlessly. Much love and a big embrace to you. Good luck!
