Yes, it was very similar.It had very nice stairs that you could walk in. So much nicer than a pool with a ladder.🏊‍♀️

As an American I think I would also like Marcella - love scones, clotted cream, hot tea-just not baked beans and black pudding for breakfast. Glass House looks very nice. Definitely would do a sea day in FLL!

Good that you like the entertainment. Like you, we found it way above expectation. Old fashioned perhaps but done so well. They have a two-week repertoire which is a lot to learn and, on our Caribbean cruise, I can't recall a single 'blooper'.

Dressing for dinner is one of our favorite things on a cruise. Wish the dress code was enforced on all cruises. Casual clothes can go to buffet.

The Fort Lauderdale stop was sort of what I expected, and I would have done the same…stay on the ship and enjoy the peace and quiet since we have been there many times for embarkations/disembarkations. Great vlog with much to see there on the ship. We had our first Bimini port on a HAL cruise last December on the Statendam and it was a bit underwhelming, but at least we got to see it. My guess is that Jerry has tried this before, but just in case…have you ever had a drink called a Weng Weng? If not, you should try it at least once. 😱🥳. Thanks for the video and content! 🙏

@@CruisingCanucks It is a drink from The Philippines, and most of the cruise ship bartenders know it by heart. It tastes really good and goes down quite easily, but beware…you may want to pace yourself. Just remember you heard it from Doug! 🙏❤️🥳

If you are going to cruise the Med you really need to use Marella for the best experience but if a posher ship is your bag then maybe not.

It was absolutely beautiful. There is a full bar that opens at 10am and a restaurant for lunch and dinner all inside the Glass House. There were plenty of waiters looking after the area❤️.

Beautiful pool area. Is the roof retractable? I noticed when we were on a cruise with mostly Australians that we kept running into them in the hallways too. 😂.

Yes, there is. We went on a Spa tour on embarkation day and thought it was a good size gym for the size of ship. The Spa offered full services that you would find on any other cruise.🤸🏼‍♀️

It was very quiet in the Glass House. Most people were exploring Fort Lauderdale. There were some people that stayed on board that were suntanning by the main pool. It was busy in the evening but we try are best no to film others.🛳
