+mikethecripple, the lyrics speak about a person losing their brother, they live in a future earth where climate change has done the worst and the main character is the last man on earth ("Je suis maintenant le dernier humain de la terre."). They speak of a past where people tried to warn society about the impending dangers of climate change, droughts and famine are spoken of often in the lyrics. But, the wealthy only saw profits as their future. The lyrics end with the person dying and bidding farewell to humanity. I first heard this song thanks to a French professor I had in Plattsburgh, who is a native of Montréal. Such a haunting and depressing song. Hopefully a wake-up call for all of us to get off of fossil fuels.

It's originally performed by Les Cowboys Fringants (The Frisky Cowboys), and "plus rien" loosely translates into, "nothing anymore." This song speaks of people living in the future, but only two remain on earth until one dies and the surviving person talks about a past where snow still fell in winter. The world the person lives in has gone through the worst of climate change.

Je sais d'ou je viens, et ca change en RIEN ce que j'ai dit. Les Canadiens-Francais ne sont pas Canadiens et Francais... Ce sont des Canadiens-Francais, il y a une différence.
