I had both a shirt /and/ a skirt in a /very/ similar print as your floral stuff back in the early 90s in college (I'm old). The shirt was a button down, but it was definiitely the same mesh-y material with the flowers on black. And the skirt was the same (though the flowers on that one were more yellow toned, I think). Anyway, that floral outfit really took me back! I wish I had pics from back then to show you. :) #nostalgic
