I don't think we have these big thrift stores in the UK?! If we do it's probably best that I don't know! Best case is there being a few small charity shops in a town, and the local/not national type are always the best value with the most er.. interesting items to rummage through

I loved that flowered top that you planned to go with the skirt . It's the majority of luck o have when thrift shopping of matching an outfit. To bad cause it looked so cute together. I still love the purple outfit the most thats the one id have chosen but i think she looked awesome in the one she chose. I prefer thrift store over new because of all the overpriced poly in the nowadays thank good they are putting more natural fibers in the stores now. About time. Polyester is cheap in every way. Cost to make is the cheapest andbwe know it's crap, it's crap.

Just a note about Value Village: Value Village doesn’t donate directly to charities, and its charity partners don’t receive any of its sales revenue. Goodwill is a non-profit also for $ savings at least in the PNW Goodwills, when you go in, see what color tags are 50% off and what color tag is $1.79. The "color" is the color of the plastic thingy that attaches the tag to the clothes.

The skirt was awesome! How much was it? The thing, well one of the things that makes me cringe about thrift stores these days is the volume of fast fashion crap that ends up there...shein, lulu roe and similar...no one even wants that second hand! And as always...the crazy prices...$12 for an express tee shirt...doh!
