Copper "The cable uses litz copper and is one of the cleaner sounding copper cables out there. Firstly the soundstage is improved being wider and having more air between instruments, this also improves instrument separation and everything is a little more defined within the soundstage." - ostewart, soundperfectionreviews.com Silver Plated Copper "The bass were tremendously tight with plenty of visceral feel of the drum kits. Mid are smooth with clear vocal. You can hear every breath of the singer when doing close mic recording. The high is extended without feeling any rough edges or sibilance. Vocal to die for!" - MusicLove123, Head-fi.org Silver + Gold "Bass remains beautifully controlled despite its punch, instruments carry equal servings of cleanliness and weight, and the treble glistens without a brittle note in sight." - Deezel, The Headphone List "Silver + Gold is a brighter cable aimed primarily at improving detail retrieval and clarity, and in this it performs remarkably well. It has a short note decay that means it is not the most natural sound, but what this does is create a wonderfully airy and detailed image that is incredibly precise in its placement of notes." - Wyville, Head-fi.org "… Silver + Gold has a bold, powerful quality. Clarity and dynamics are off the charts. The vividness of vocals and instruments is awe-inspiring. They jump forward, becoming bigger and brighter. Bass notes feel enormous, rumbling like a volcano and erupting like an atom bomb. Treble is oh so airy. It extends up the frequency range with crystalline purity. Quickness of attack and heroic aggression means you’re unlikely to fall asleep with boredom. Resolution is at an all-time high, rendering sharp and precise, conveying all manner of textural richness. The soundstage is the largest I’ve heard, creating grand space and clean atmosphere around the elements." - Pinky Powers, The Headphone List Gold Plated Copper "The GPC offers a solid upgrade in performance, a cleaner stage and better extension, but really sets itself apart when it comes to tonality. This is just a very natural sounding cable, without overly coloring the sound. It can either pair well with midcentric iems, my main use, or to make a brighter iem smoother." - Flinkenick, The Headphone List "Gold Plated Copper Type 6 Litz is a top cable that is able to showcase a high standard of details retrieval and adds a smoothness to the overall sound. This cable pairs well with balanced and brighter sounding iems. The stage width and depth improves a lot to reduce congestion." - Audio123 "A lifted low end response and punch and a slightly warmer and softer treble. What I have found pretty early on is that this cable still keeps the same amount of clarity and precision of the IEMs. Neither did layering, staging or imaging take a hit with it. Rather than coloring the sound too much, it concentrates on creating a smoother overall tune but leaves other critical aspects of the spectrum untouched. It slightly adds on to transparency and instrumental separation, making both go a level up." - Linus, Headfonia "Gold Plated Copper is a wonderfully ergonomic cable with great performance and has quickly become one of my favourite pieces of gear. It seems to pair well with different types of IEMs" - Wyville, Head-Fi T-Metal "Sound-wise the T-Metal is a natural cable, with excellent top and bottom end extension. The level of layering and details of it are outstanding, especially for its price-point. Treble did receive some more sparkle and shimmer while also getting a little warmer at the same time. Micro-detailing and rendering are both very good. Sound stage does stretch a notch further into width and depth. Bass is more in control with superb texture and drive. Vocals have a slight holography breathen into them." - Linus, Headfonia "T-Metal carries a neutral-warm tonality with remarkable clarity. A touch of warmth and polite treble try, and fail, to rein in the savage power at the core of this mutant. Upon first listening, I couldn’t believe any cable could change the presentation of an IEM this much. The soundstage skyrocketed upward. What the holy hell could I mean by that? It got tall. TALL, I say!" - Pinky Powers, The Headphone List Gold Plated Hybrid "The GPH, while being incredibly rich, smooth, and lush, portrays an incredible amount of microdetail. Transparency is top notch, and the sense of space and separation is astounding. It layers remarkably well, and despite a forward presentation, the actual space extends really far out, thus throwing out a huge, spacious stage." - WCDchee, Head-fi.org "Sound gets more lively but not necessarily more aggressive, and actually has a smoother transition between frequencies. The bass is stronger and yet smoother, with farther and noticeably deeper extension. Bass power is more impressive with a punchier impact and slight extra mid-bass emphasis carrying some more warmth to the whole lower-end. Even though, the bass remains well-layered, fuller and richer in texture. While speed is not affected nor improved, the decay feels more natural." - Zettai Audio

Tri-Copper "Tri-Copper cable is very competitive indeed. It brings all the hallmarks of a solid copper cable including enhanced warmth, body and low-end impact yet still retains a smooth and detailed top-end. It will be a darker experience if you are coming from a silver cable but it is also a more musical and less fatiguing experience than those clarity monsters." - Marcus, Headfonics "The Tri-Copper offers a nicely warm and smooth sound, with some of the best vocals and instruments I’ve heard in a cable so far. The low-end punch it delivers might be what many bass-heads are looking for when they need just a little more. The Tri-Copper matches very well with a wide array of my monitors and has become one of my absolute favorites for the Kaiser Encore and M15 loaded A18t." - Linus, Headfonia "Out of all the choices I have, plusSound’s Tri-Copper is the best I’ve heard for a monitor like Kaiser Encore. It adds what I wish to be added, and smoothes out those less friendly areas. It’s the greatest companion to a thin, cold, or bright IEM, and could give new life to many other signatures, if that’s where your tastes lay." - Pinky Powers, The Headphone List "The Tri-Copper is a lightly warm cable with well-controlled treble, a smooth midrange and generally full-bodied notes. It has a darker background set to a hint of additional lower-treble crunch which brings smaller details to the fore regardless. It also has impressive air that maintains atmosphere and a sense of openness despite its warmer tone. It, therefore, achieves excellent synergy with brighter, thinner earphones though it can also suit mid-bass focussed earphones with a thinner midrange." - Everyday Listening Gold Plated Silver "Wonderful resolution, very enjoyable mids and a sparkly top end to finish it off. The gold plated silver Exo matches well with many monitors of mine and I am sure it will become a good sparring partner for many more.." - Linus, Headfonia "Gold Plated Silver is a great cable for warm IEMs that could benefit from a little less warmth and some extra punch and texture in the bass, but pairs also very nicely with closer to neutral IEMs such as the U12t. It extends the treble well and can smooth out some treble peaks" - Wyville, Head-Fi "The Exo GPS is an interesting cable, almost contradictory in the way it adds a little warmth and impact down low, yet a little added brightness in the midrange and a lift in the upper treble to aid extension. This cable will pair well with most neutral to warm monitors, and is superbly crafted and a pleasure to use." - Oscar Stewart, Sound Perfection Reviews Tri-Silver "The bottom line is that the Tri-Silver is an incredibly detailed, engaging, but also a relatively neutral sounding cable. This is a cable that really focuses on staging capability, teasing out a really holographic presentation with a tuning that shies away from too coloring the sound with much treble sparkle or low-end girth." - Marcus, Headfonics "The Tri-Silver is the first product to combine three different types of silver wires in one cable. Its sonic characteristics make way to pair well with pretty much any type of monitor out there. It offers a fine tuned balance, with wonderful imaging and resolution. The Tri’s midrange excels in smoothness and brings a nice organic sound to the treble." - Linus, Headfonia "The common change I found while switching to Tri-Silver cable was always an improvement in soundstage width expansion, giving the sound a more holographic perception. Furthermore, it gave low end more control, making it tighter and better separated from lower mids. The most noticeable change was in upper mids, bringing more focus (instead of being further out of your head), making them sound more natural, and lifting the quantity to make sound sig more balanced." - Twister6 "The Plussound Tri-Silver is an outstanding cable that commands excellent definition and it delivers an extremely agile sonic performance." - Audio123 "Particularly impressive is the Tri-Silver's passion for sense of scale and imaging. While [tri-silver] is inherently silver, combining three different mixes (palladium-plated, gold-plated, and pure), the sound is not classically a "bright" silver sound. Instead, the emphasis is placed on neutrality with excellent technicalities and dynamics." - Smit Patel, Positive-Feedback/Audio Solace "The Tri-Silver provides a clean and concise sound focusing on an agile and focused note presentation. It has a neutral tonality and a technical nature, in turn, this grants it the ability to enhance definition, separation and create a more holographic presentation overall." - Ryan Soo, Everyday Listening/ The Headphone List Palladium Plated Hybrid PPH "This is a very smartly 'tuned' high performing cable from PLUSSOUND. It takes the technical prowess from the Tri-Silver and adds more body, smoothness, and an altogether sweeter sounding timbre." - Marcus Downey Headfonics "...In my testing of PS Palladium plated hybrid, I found common changes with a noticeable improvement in soundstage expansion, creating a nearly 3D holographic spacing. Also, in some pair ups it added more analog flavor and extra impact to the bass and more body to lower mids. And it kept mids/vocals relatively transparent, still layered and detailed, and quite natural without any exaggerated coloring. Plus, to my ears it also sharpened the definition of treble, but in a more natural and a controlled way." - Alex, Twister6 "The Palladium Plated Hybrid can be summed up as a revealing cable that comes with a low end lift and one of the widest stagings any cable has to offer. PPH expands the extension into sub-bass and gives low-end notes more weight and body. I hear bass with nicer texture and higher resolution. It gives a noticeable bigger body to the lower midrange, which also seems lightly boosted to me. The PPH gives a presentation which is a bit warmer and richer. PlusSound’s latest creates a sound that is thicker and lusher in the lower registers, but keeps a natural neutral tone in the mids." - Linus, Headfonia “Having tested many cables that contain the palladium material, the Palladium Plated Hybrid (PPH) easily has the widest soundstage expansion out of the lot. Along with the holographic presentation, the PPH brings a lot more with great sub-bass rumble, organic midrange, smooth yet detailed treble. This is honestly one of the best cables I have tried." - Ricky, Audio123 “You get the resolving power of a good pure silver cable alongside the body of copper but with some extra energy and cleanliness from the palladium plating. The result is a highly engaging sound specialising in soundstage width, holographic imaging and a robust yet articulate bass.” - Ryan Soo, The Headphone List/Everyday Listening “PPH may be my new favorite... There’s every bit the resolution, most of the transparency, yet it adds that warmth, extra depth, and a preternatural holographic quality to its rendering. I guess you can say there’s an x-factor I find addictive.” - Caleb Paterik, The Headphone List "PLUSSOUND’s Palladium-Plated Hybrid is a cable that tip-toes musicality - soul or bounce - and transparency extremely well, and it’s down to two things for me: The vast, open, outstandingly-clear space it creates and the bold, slightly-gooey notes that live within it. The tone it sports overall is airy and clean; incredibly open and free-sounding. Instruments have seemingly endless amounts of space to occupy with breadths of crystal-clear air flowing between them. Yet, this doesn’t come with thinness or plasticity. Again, notes are tinged with an oomph to them; wet-sounding or analog at all times..." Daniel Lesmana, The Headphone List

Copper+ Copper+ “I found Copper+ to have PS “signature” soundstage expansion, making it spread wider left to right. Furthermore, Copper+ has a very tasteful refinement of the bass with enhancement of sub-bass rumble and more articulation in mid-bass punch. And from a technical perspective, it also lowers the noise floor… which tightens the sound due to blacker background… Definitely a great cable to consider if you are looking for pure Copper wires.” Alex, Twister6 “The new Copper+ simply sounds more expansive and complex, teasing out an improved level of detail in low-end texture whilst still pushing forward the bass presence to a satisfying level. The warmth is there but it is not overpowering, in fact, the transparency from the Copper+ with monitors I had not expected to pair well with is surprisingly good.” Marcus, Headfonics "The Copper+ is a complex and well-realized take on a copper custom cable, accordingly delivering a unique sonic performance. It is defined by a especially wide stage, immaculate background and robust, powerful bass whilst still prioritizing the natural note presentation and tone signature to copper." Ryan Soo, Everyday Listening/The Headphone List "Smooth, liquid and richer tone from lows to mids and yet energetic but less offensive treble response…. Cleaner background, better detail, more air and more natural timbre. I found the first thing to notice with the Copper+ cable is on the low-end frequencies. Not for adding tons of sheer bass quantities - even though it brings a sense of warmth to the sound - but rather for improving the texture and giving more body and fullness to the whole bass area, even down to the sub-bass that gets an extra notch in rumble.” - Zelda Hy, Head-Fi "The bass is tighter and feels more impactful, while the treble gets a hint more sparkle. Mids feel cleaner and transparency is improved by lifting the veil that some might associate with the HD650." Wyville, Twister6 " It is easy to notice that we’re dealing with a delightful whole copper design, as the overall signature is thick, rich, deep and musical. You can find an excellent reproduction from top to bottom, with an excellent amount of dynamics, clarity and richness in both the lows, mids and the treble. The sound is deep and wide, with Copper+ enlarging the soundstage the most, when it comes to cables, from what I heard to date. I am happy to report that all pairings have been perfect to my ears, with no other cable being as versatile and easy to pair with absolutely everything you throw at it, and the fact that there’s a rich warmth in Copper+, but it doesn’t overwhelm the other frequencies plays a big role in its versatility and ease of usage...In fact, it sounds so nice that I am going to add Copper+ to Audiophile-Heaven's Hall of Fame as sonically the most versatile and best sounding cable I heard to date, it surely brought me some happy moments. I'd personally probably prefer 1080p60Hz over this format option. When I'm watching something longer, I tend to appreciate the smoothness more than the resolution, and resolution alone is rarely useful if the camera is constantly in motion because it never focuses quite well enough to improve legibility over 1080. But that just like... my opinion, man.

I watch on my 11.5inch 16:10 tablet, I'm noticing it's little more sharper than your usual 1080p60 cuz it's 4k, but I actually prefer 16:9 cuz it's almost full screen on my tab and on computers and TV screens, I think you're old settings are best for full screen experience even though it's a slight sacrifice in sharpness.

Yeah I don't like 4:3. The TRN's also have removable cables so don't need to buy two units for mmcx and two pin separately. My BT20's sometimes have terrible connection loss, where if my phone is in a pocket, then the sound from one sides starts glitching out like crazy. Also, in the rain one side looses connection like crazy regardless of where I put my phone.

I'm fine with 4:3. But 60 FPS is a must. If you were recording with a static camera shot I'd be fine with 30. But since the camera is y'know... attached to your head, 60 FPS makes the movement a lot easier on the eyes.

It's insane how audiophiles imagine electricity being so difficult to conduct, that the electrons deal with so much resistance in a short length cable that the audio signal become extremely different from one good conductor to another. When it's the exact opposite. Copper does a perfect job conducting electrical signals in short lengths, the signal won't struggle with 2 of 3 foot of wire.

heh. from point a to point b, as long as the signal isn't dropping in strength, or clipping, you're good. even if the conductor is steel. or literally any metal that doesn't introduce ridiculous amounts of impedance. its usually more about mass than it is about the metals actual makeup, and its been proven. but yeah, we seem to just hate money i guess. i mean, i use actual studio gear as my basic computer sound card/speakers. i do not have a studio. **coughs**

Yeah, like, you can easily have 100 meters long gigabit Ethernet cables for a couple of dollars, but apparently analogue signal requires $100+ worth of silver per meter, even with 10 layers of interference protection. I know it's nonsense to compare digital signal to analogue, but audiophile cable people are just crazy. I have several rather expensive cables, but it's typically because they feel more convenient and durable, not because they sound any different.
@UNSCPILOT
@UNSCPILOT 2 жыл бұрын
Believe me, I know some aspects are just fluff, but it's all in good fun, I'm certainly more worried about cable durability than silver-copper-gold-unobtanium madness, but I won't avoid it for the same reasons. And yeah, for regular current carrying Copper is fantastic, some frequency related Madness might lend some credit to *some* augments for more expensive materials, I certainly wouldn't be shocked
@UNSCPILOT
@UNSCPILOT 2 жыл бұрын
@@NatiiixLP actually that's basically digital Vs analog in a nutshell, one of digital's big claims to fame has always been greatly increased range because it's resistant to interfearence and attenuation. But yeah, over the distance of a headphone cable you'd probably need *expensive* lab equipment to find the difference in a signal especially past a minimum bar of quality it would face extreme diminishing returns

I want to let you know I hate it :) I really like 60 FPS videos. 4:3 formulator does not give me anything, it just adds black bars left and right in the browser window. I just see less, not more. PS: Okay so the 16:9 is a cropped version with top and bottom missing. Maybe this 4:3 has more details but only if the screen is still . What with a head camera is rare. And any move with 30 FPS makes all and any details disappear in motion bluer, unfortunately. Also on top of that I need to stress that KZbin is not handling 4:3 well in browser. This 4:3 picture could theoretically be about half of my 21:9 ratio, 3440x1440 screen. But it never will in the bowser window. Only if I take the video picture out with that button, that I can pull it to about half my screen. But then I lose all the setting options and infos, no time stamps useable with it etc.

Edit to add: I had to stop watching this at the 12:15 mark because of how queasy it was making me feel, actually nauseous sorry. I never had this issue with your older 16:9 content ever and 1080p was fine even though I have a 1440p 35" Ultrawide monitor it looked good to me. I was fine watching your older videos and they definitely improved from around year two forward with your more recent videos being very good visually. This new style somehow manages to make me feel a little motion sick and looks very fish eyed is the term I think. The center looks stretched further into the distance while the side appear to be scrunching into the center. It's kind of like trying describe how something tastes as to what this looks like to me it's very hard. I just know I Don't like it, I don't like it at all but hey you do you it's your channel. I do know the motion sickness type feeling it's giving me means I may not watch as many of your videos sorry. No thanks to 4:3, the colors look much more vibrant but the low FPS and low FOV make the video almost unwatchable. It seems theres lots more 'motion blur' when you move your head now too and the fast movements aren't helped by the low FPS of the video

I don't mind the 4:3, but do prefer the 16:9. The colors look a bit more vibrant, but the contrast seems to be turned up too much. There is also something happening everytime you moved your head. It almost looks like focus seeking to me, but it could also be a biproduct of the image stabilization. It actually made the video harder for me to watch than normal.

The blur of 30fps negates the jump to 4k, even watching on a 4k screen. 60 fps work better for your first person style content in the same way you'd play a shooter in 60 and take the hit to resolution rather than drop to 30 for a "better" image. The blur defeats the purpose of high resolution, and only people with 4k screens notice the sharpness but everyone will feel the framerate hit.

30fps is so bad for first-person pov video. Super choppy. The biggest problem is your camera's small sensor and slow lens does not pull in enough light. To have enough brightness, the camera opens the shutter longer which causes blurriness. Either you need to add in more studio lights or use a DSLR. And 4:3 in 2022? Are you high or what?

The higher resolution does not look any sharper, it honestly looks like scaled up 720p. I would prefer higher fps over stabilisation on review type of content. On cinematic stuff I'm all for 24p, but this kind documentary type of content does benefit on more realistic filming style. Your lights are also way too harsh on anything white or reflective. IMO, save some money and go with the KZ AZ09 Pro's (which you can buy on AliEx for $30, discounted). BT 5.2, Ipx4, CVC, TWS+, AptX HD/LL, AAC, SBC. Battery life ~6.5hrs +42hrs case. I bought two sets and easily modded the second set from QDC to 2-pin. They fit well, have solid connectivity, and easily drive my IEM's [e.g. S12, Olina, T3+, Heart Mirror].

This aspect ratio is awful. Most monitors are 16:9 and i guarantee most people do not watch vertically on their phone so this doesnt even help them. Please stop after you get this out of your system for a few videos. 30fps is abysmal compared to 60fps as it makes movement so blurry. Its like going back in time for no reason.

Keep trying, Zeos. On my phone and tv the motion is weird, colors too saturated, and the aspect ratio messes up the composition (less focus on your desk/product) don't mind the black bars tho.

I really don’t mind the 4:3, I think it is unique in todays world and it works. But the colour is too contrasty for my personal taste and man, 60fps just “feels” better. But lets see, we might all love it after a couple of videos.

They have quite a few now the KZ AZ09 which had some major connectivity issues for me. Then there was a pro version which I didn't try cuz it was twice the price and I was already burned once. And now there is a K10 or something.... The one I had, the the az-09 sounded pretty good but there's always like a two or three second cut out in the left ear.. not every song maybe not even every three songs but sometimes several times a song. I don't think the problems are universal but they are widespread enough that the reviews are plastered with people with the similar complaint.

4:3 is a hilariously bad idea. Colors look saturated and anything bright is WAY too bright. Your hands and keyboard keys look like they're glowing. I think you tried to fix something that wasn't broken.

I bought my LC-BT2 in Sept 2020 for around $75 on Amazon and it has worked perfectly with my RHA CL2 planar IEMs. It is great when traveling or out for walks, and the battery life is quite good. I am considering doing a MMCX mod on my KPH30i's, how do you think the BT2 will handle the extra impedance load?

I might be into minority but I actually watch to mostly get Z's experience with comfort level and playing around with features. I don't think sound is something that can be explained very well anyway. You'll know you'll like it when you try it. I get more benefit from reviewers talking about things that aren't so subjective. Battery life or comfort, or value. When it comes to stuff like low-end girth or clarity or openness or sparkliness or shoutiness... it just sounds like someone's reading out of a thesaurus! And yes if you watch enough of these videos you start to understand what they mean... But who are we kidding. Reviewers always say the same kind of thing about sound quality. "The mid bass is a little elevated, but it doesn't really bleed into the mids." I swear people say that about just about any product!

today I just got a a new cable for my Arya. not an expensive one, just a 50$ 4,4mm cable from Meze, and all I wanted was to work, but I have the IMPRESSION that is sound slightly different. I do not claim it sounds different, I do not expect it to sound different, even if cable make a difference I don't expect 50$ cables to make one. A theory is that the original cable has very bad soldering, but the thing is I got the impression that sound si very slightly different without expecting it or looking for something like that, so I am still open to the possibility of cables making a difference, but I am not going around recommending that cable based on that impression. Sure I recommend that cable because it is light, connector housing are metal and feel good in the hand, the product feels made with care, and ifi 4,4mm IEM match you can use Arya on WA-6SE tube amp 😁

I tried a friend's Empyrean with an "upgraded wire" and I HAD to tell him I heard zero difference between stock and (what I assume was) a few hundred dollar cable. Ive blown my nose and had my ears pop which causes audio to sound more different than those two cables did. I'll have to ask him what materials the "upgrade" cable is.

Mobile screens are moving to higher refresh rate and wider screens (mine's 90hz 20:9), so this is moving in the wrong direction with regards to that. Personally I prefer more square aspect ratio's though, maybe 3:2 is even better but I don't mind the 4:3. In the end opinions on this are gonna be all over the place so good luck finding something that works!

The 4:3 aspect ratio reminds me of Zack Snyder's Justice League. After the first the couple of minutes you stop noticing the aspect ratio. The format is fine, I will say that on mobile it makes scrolling the comments or multitasking a better experience because the wider aspect ratio makes the video smaller in these two cases whereas with the 4:3 it leaves the video bigger and easier to view.
