Pluto in the 4th house natal here. Yes, I am definitely a survivor of childhood emotional neglect - my emotional needs were not really met by my parents (as much as I wanted / needed them to be met). Over the years, I tried my best to accept that this is my soul's lesson and my soul has chosen my parents for a very good reason - in order to learn this lesson and grow spiritually. It also makes sense why I'm so emotionally supportive, understanding and nurturing towards others - in other words, very attuned to other people's emotional needs. I believe that when our own emotional needs are not met, we become really great at meeting those needs in others, which becomes our strength. Your video gave me a deep realization / insight. Ditto! I have BPD to prove it. I agree it makes us empathic, or it can make us go the opposite direction and become narcissistic. I’d rather be overly emotional than emotionally inept any day!

Hi this was helpful. I’ve seen a lot of videos on the abuse neglect for Pluto 4th but not so much about the soul lesson of self reliance. I have this placement and feel I have reached a point of confusion. I understand what happened and why but I don’t know what I’m supposed to do. I will never get the love and validation from my family and that’s fine but am I supposed to forgive them and allow them space in my life? It seems like it perpetuates the neglect. Work and relationships are pretty much non existent now. I’m just kinda lost. Nothing is working and I’ve made lots of mistakes. Sorry for the word vomit. Maybe a chart reading would be helpful.

Thank you for sharing and your vulnerability. You don’t have to forgive your family. But you need to forgive yourself and your soul choosing this life path and lessons. Trust that it’s for the highest good and we may not able to see it right. But it will all make sense one day when we have the wisdom and experience. Healing has its own timeline…if you’re not ready to allow your family members in your space…you don’t have to …respect your own feelings ❤️

We should forgive, yes. That’s something we do for ourselves, not them. It also cancels out karma. If we don’t forgive we create karma to be in their shoes and experience not being forgiven. In understanding that they are the way they are because the celestial bodies made them that way, we can find tolerance in their shortcomings. As far as keeping them in our lives, NO, we don’t have to do that! In fact we should learn self love and a huge part of that is learning how to implement healthy boundaries. For toxic ppl and situations, it’s ok to just say no. The goal is to do it without wrath or judgment. ❤ Edit: to forgive, we don’t have to tell them that we forgave them!! We can do that in the peace and quiet of our minds and prayers. Again- it’s for US, not them.
