As one who works lots with Pluto, I find that intense Pluto energy can take me spiritually deeper. Pluto transited my 12th house the past 16 years, as I have a Capricorn Ascendant. It's been an extremely intense healing process that often required all my energy to process. I did a lot of energy healing, breath work, transmutation. It felt like a burning off of the unhealthy ego and subconscious patterns. At the end of each dark night of the soul, I felt immense relief and closer to the core of who I am. And more recently as it's been crossing my Ascendant over and over, the transformation process has sped up and deepened. There are core wounds that feel permanently healed and dissolved. Not to say I'll never feel these triggers again, but they don't seem to have the same hold as they used to. It's intense and transformative.

Fascinating. I am pluto dominant also and I can see now why I always had an obsession with occultish/new age things also. After I got sooo deep into these subjects, I realized that I could not inform nor influence anything outside of my own microcosm of existence. I reached a place of acceptance. In my early 20s I experienced the loss of my fiancee (not through death but circumstances ) and I was devastated when it became clear that we would not ever be together again. I cried inconsolably for several hours and I fell in a coma ( self induced,or better said GOD intervened) for two and a half weeks. Except it started in my 8th house and is in 9th now, things got extremely dark and intense when Saturn transited my sun/mercury/Pluto in the 6th. I have sun conjunct Pluto conjunct Uranus and my husband is sun conj pluto with Uranus in the same house. I was studying Pluto by searching images and I realized that Pluto looks alot like the Hagrid character, he is a most beloved character, but he is surrounded by crisis moments and Transformations!! He delivers to the muggles and returns him and the others to the School. Hagrid is even on the far ORBIT of the school. He has the 3 headed dog "Fluffy", and he is a keeper of keys and secrets. He himself experiences abrupt loss, and is friends to misunderstood creaters including spiders, dragons..etc... He travels far a field on diverse missions, for Dumbledore (the Sun) One time...I was wanting to find a Hagrid action figure in a thrift store..and I said the mantra..."Look there's Hagrid"...and I turned the corner and found him right on a shelf!! Then I said "look there's a bag of Money!" and I found a bag of "shredded money"..HAHAHAHAHA.. Okay Pluto is very serious...and maybe this is helping me deal with the blows...to think of this as Hagrid and Fluffy . Dumbledore says that he trusts Hagrid with his Life... I have quite a bit of Pluto aspects happening in this transit taking place right now. Pluto is in my 4th house in Capricorn and I feel very caged and like I’m suffocating because I hate my home and who I live with. I'm on the brink on losing a job I love... and they are using all sorts of dirty tricks like trying to find fault with my work and faking evidence against me... it's so hurtful and terrifying as well as angry making! I'm trying to defend and protect myself and my principles with equanimity but it is very difficult to keep a clear mind... it is bringing back a lot of residue from situations in the past when I was treated unfairly, abused, or a victim of injustice... I always found these very difficult... and have tended to walk away and try and forget about them... but they keep happening again... now it feels like I have to find the strength to stand up for myself! Would you say this is compatible with the Pluto message of accepting the inevitable?...

Pluto in the 12th House and just got hit again: I could write about it..... or give up(single mom abandoned by only child at 18). I have a Virgo Moon; but I feel the hit so hard I wonder where to publish such a book (6 more years to go you say: uhhhh, do I give up because I've been abandoned by the one I physically lived for). I have Pluto in my 5th house and my mom does not, but she felt this way about me for a time because I left home. But I left home because she created a very scary and unsafe environment for me once she decided I was old enough to take care of myself, whilst also claiming she “lived her entire life for me.” Wether you created a toxic environment or not don’t take it so personally. If he needs space give it to him and he will learn that he is allowed to be free and you’ll still love him. The whole sentence in quotations just made me feel guilt tripped and I can imagine he felt the same. Sorry it happened on your birthday though, that’s insult to injury. Again I don’t mean to say you did anything harmful like my mom. But I hope you can understand that he’s working things out in his head and needs to explore.

Hello, Lada! I have natal Pluto in the 8th house too, so I share your fascination with the dark side, though, having my Sun in my 1st house, I tend to think of myself as a rather solar person otherwise. Speaking of the dark side, I think it's worth taking a look at the birth chart of Jodi Arias, the famous murderess who is currently serving life in prison for the particularly brutal murder of her ex-boyfriend, with whom she still had an intensely sexual and obsessive relationship at the time of the murder. Her natal Pluto is tightly conjunct her Lilith in Libra and it squares her Sun in Cancer and her MC in Capricorn. I am still fairly new to astrology, but I couldn't belive my eyes when I saw her chart.

I have a progressed Pluto in 4th house and transiting Pluto in 10th house. I'm handling the 4th house issues with reading a lot of psycology and astrology :D I've gone to some therapy that helped, too, but I'm quite good at handling many things myself now because I have a decent psychological basis to build upon. I've also managed to help my mother change many of her negative tendencies and behaviours through my readings and the work I've done on myself. But psychology seems to come easy to me with North Node in Aquarius in 8th House, natal Mercury square Pluto, natal Jupiter in 12th house and somo more.
