That sounds very surprisingly good. This definitely gonna be one of those cult classic boards hopefully, especially with how accessible this is at $290USD. I don't know whether it's spring ping or plate noise but the alu does feel a little bit sharp and overly loud, so glad Poly are doing a CF option with this for plates! CF and alu are typically always my favourite.

Top mount is best in this board. This board doesnt offer gasket. Either top or o ring

whats a ground plane

a copper layer in the pcb. removing this layer gives the pcb slightly more flexibilty and a slightly diffrent sound. original janes did not have ground planes.
