During his visit to Moscow, Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed his gratitude to President Vladimir Putin for hosting him at the Novo-Ogaryovo residence. In a message on X, PM Modi stated, “Gratitude to President Putin for hosting me at Novo-Ogaryovo this evening. Looking forward to our talks tomorrow as well, which will surely go a long way in further cementing the bonds of friendship between India and Russia.”
The meeting was also marked by President Putin congratulating PM Modi on his re-election and praising his energetic leadership, noting that he is doing good for India.

Just look at the level of mutual respect between the two, incredible. Just in their body language it's evident. Sitting faced down almost with folded hands. Putin and modi doesnt show so much respect easily to anyone. It almost like putin looks up to modi whilst simultaneously representimg russian interests. It makes sense because managing india must be the toughest job in the world and as two world leaders their is air of hierarchial respect from putin to modi and vice versa. And if you guys remember when. Modi said ' aj ka dinh yuda ka he bi nahi", he was not saying that he is not capable of war, he was making the point that it doesnt work in today's age. Putin respects modi because he knows modi is a tough nut and he means business, he is no puppet of anyone else or ordinary leader who cant see through anyones bs. He is from the school of hard knocks who did tough yards and made it from the bottom to the top solely because of his desire to serve the nation.

Only 5% of Russian population speaks english (around 7 million). India has 10% with around 128 million people. It is irrelevant comparison.. Modi went to Russia for participating India Russia Summit which is to be taken place there this time.. Putin was to come to India last year for G20 summit, but cancelled because of presense of NATO people here..Also Indian PM 's Russian visit was long over due.. China Russia relationship is actually low key, compare to India Russia one..
