Very justified and timely statement by the Karnataka MP. India as a nation state was created only 75 years ago as an outcome of British rule and by an arbitrary reorganization of the princely states... What is wrong in rethinking and reorganizing countries periodically under changed circumstances? History has umpteen cases of counties being partitioned and recreated. BJP in any case is catering mainly to North Indian states... Modi's oratory and charisma apart, people of the southern states cannot connect with the agenda and culture of the BJP... With no presence in any of the five southern states, the BJP has no moral right to call itself as a "national party"... Getting a majority due to the larger population of certain states in North India does not qualify the BJP to dominate over the rest of the country. The Finance Ministers of various southern states have pointed out that transferring a disproportionate share of revenues contributed by their respective states to other states which have performed poorly on population control and socio economic development, despite all states given equal treatment in the Constitution since 75 years, is unfair, unjust and undemocratic. The North South divide is real, and another partition into 'India' and 'Bharat' is reasonable and required.

2)- He said his one close young lady relative had gone to Delhi for neurological treatment of her 3 yrs old special child and for that purpose she temporarily stayed in one 95 year old relative's house who had severe heart and other old age related problems. After his wife's death few years ago he lived alone with one or two servants at the ground floor. Young lady relative with her small children was staying on 2nd floor of 4 story otherwise vacant house. This old man's 68 year old doctor son who lived in USA also happened to visit his ailing father in india for few days. His other sons and other family members are businessmen and stay in other premises outside Delhi or in far off delhi area. This old man due to his family buisness connections or his old transactions was raided by the income tax people in a consequential search. Team beside delhi taxmen constituted from other cities also.
