We belong to the General caste, but despite our economic struggles, we receive no benefits or relaxation in fees. For example, applying for government jobs costs us around Rs. 1000 for banking exams, Rs. 500 for Indian Railways, and Rs. 250 for state PSC exams. We are also human beings with needs and hunger like everyone else. The government should reconsider the reservation system and focus on providing support based on economic criteria, like the EWS (Economically Weaker Sections) category, rather than caste.

Lateral entry was a good decision but most of the Indians don't understand that, they think their seats are in danger because of this... In the private sector there are lots of people with very high level of experience and knowledge who has worked with the government in multiple projects and they could be given the chance to work directly for the government in under the lateral entry, which could have done wonders(the loopholes could be dealt with not a big issue as not a random fellow will be given a lateral entry only those who fulfill some requirements of high skill and experience)

Reservation is like a termite...it would eat the whole country and we wouldn't even know of it. Today India doesn't need doctors, engineers and IAS who are there not because they are capable of it but because they are born into a particular community which is being favoured by the caste politics in this country. I don't know 😢 when will a true politician will be in power which end this quota system and end this caste politics and India will be able to enjoy it's true potential
