I finally feel so proud to be called an Indian..what an era to be from India..previously the kind of politicians voted by Indian citizens used to be honestly embarrassing choices..but now when although on a foreign passport when they see an Indian name people always say namaste and Modi..in many occasions said India is so lucky to have him as their PM..I was wrong about him when he came to power a decade ago..he literally went way way beyond my expectations..which was zero then..learnt not to be judgemental based on political affiliation

Looks like you either are ignorant, or you don't want to accept the truth. Before India got invaded, India already had a monarchy system so there was no need of Rashtrapati Bhawan. It was made for the Britishers. From Grand Trunk Road to Tramways, only the Britishers were allowed to use that while we needed to walk and go there. So what was the point? Plus Mahadev Mandir would be built by us anyways. We needed independence because we were oppressed and the Britishers were exploiting our land for their own use.
