Sela was a local arunachali girl who along with her sister helped 21 yrs young Jaswant Singh Rawat in fighting against the chinese troops in 1962. These 3 killed 300 chinese soldiers near tawang . All 3 laid down their lives for their beloved Motherland. Sela Pass named after Sela and her sister's name was Noora.

Construction of Sela Tunnel between Tezpur (Assam) to Tawang (AP) is the best decision by the Govt/BRO. It has many good sides. 1)Troops would be able to move hassle free 2) Time would be less consuming 3)All weather movement would be possible 4)It would be viable alternative to rough/tough hazardous hilly surface journey. Please give more priority for environment than politics, movies, celebrations, etc. Rivers are already polluted, people are not worried about using plastic covers, even eco friendly 100% bio degradable non plastic covers are available in Amazon(approximately 600 rupees(INR) for 90 pieces), not separating wet waste from dry waste, not worried about using Diesel vehicle when other options are available, cotton cloths are available but still they are interested in polyester(plastic). Educated/non-educated people are behind super natural non existing things for miracles to happen, so YOU/MEDIA are the right people who should take action.., keep going..result is sure.
