The big problem with his POV is that he exalts "modernity" vs middle ages, as if the big religion we all must accept is secular humanism. Christianity, Judaism, & Islam are all judged by that standard & are only acceptable as in subordination to humanism. It is not the Jews or Judaism that gave the world honorable ethics.
