As a Korean, sharing some context: President Yoon, a former prosecutor general, leveraged his control over the prosecution in an attempt to politically eliminate the opposition party leader, who commands a two-thirds majority in Congress. However, his efforts failed, leaving him increasingly isolated. In a last-ditch attempt to retain power, he resorted to declaring martial law. This drastic measure also aimed to deflect attention from mounting corruption scandals involving himself, his family, and his inner circle. Allegations include the First Lady’s bribery (luxury handbags and etc), stock manipulation, land speculation, the suppression of investigations into drug smuggling and more.

Without troop's 'kindness', they could've just fire weapon away. (2) After martial law had been lifted, even now, no one is got arrested or accused. They can make another attempt to mobilize troops again and again, even now. People are worried about happening martial law again every night.

South Korean President Yoon Suk-yeol declared martial law at 10:25 PM on December 3, only for the National Assembly to unanimously pass a resolution demanding its revocation 2 hours and 35 minutes later, at 1:00 AM on December 4. The resolution was passed with all 190 members present voting in favor during an extraordinary session of the National Assembly. Following the vote, the Speaker’s Office stated, “The declaration of martial law is nullified as a result of the resolution to revoke it.” The President’s Office has not yet issued an official response regarding the resolution. According to Article 77, Clause 5 of the South Korean Constitution, the content is as follows: Article 77 (Martial Law), Clause 5: “When martial law is declared, the President must report it to the National Assembly without delay, and if the National Assembly demands the lifting of martial law, the President must comply.” This clause regulates the authority of the President and the role of the National Assembly concerning the declaration of martial law. It is designed to prevent the abuse of martial law and ensure democratic governance.

China has deployed spies to various countries to communize the world and establish global dominance. It has also manipulated elections in the United States and South Korea. The reason for the martial law in South Korea was to secure evidence of election fraud in the April 15 general election. Through martial law, the Central Election Commission was raided, and the evidence was obtained. It was an extraordinary measure taken by the South Korean president to protect liberal democracy and save the nation from spies. The leader of the Homeland Innovation Party, Cho Kuk, stated on December 4th that “an immediate investigation into President Yoon Suk-yeol must proceed.” Speaking to reporters after the National Assembly passed a resolution demanding the revocation of martial law, Cho criticized the president, saying, “President Yoon’s declaration of martial law neither meets the necessary conditions nor follows the proper procedures.” He added, “This is not an emergency situation, and the declaration did not go through a Cabinet meeting. Therefore, President Yoon’s martial law declaration is, in itself, an illegal act and a crime.” Cho further argued, “Although the president cannot be investigated for crimes except for treason or external aggression, President Yoon’s martial law act constitutes military rebellion and must be investigated immediately.” He also emphasized, “Even though the martial law has been revoked, we must proceed with impeachment as soon as this situation stabilizes.” Earlier at 1:00 AM on December 4th, the National Assembly convened a plenary session just 2 hours and 40 minutes after President Yoon declared martial law, passing the resolution demanding its revocation with all 190 lawmakers present voting in favor. According to Article 77, Clause 5 of the South Korean Constitution, the president must lift martial law if the National Assembly demands its revocation with a majority vote.

As a Korean, I would like to explain the current situation more accurately. The real reason President Yoon declared martial law was to conduct a raid on the National Election Commission (NEC). For about seven years, there have been suspicions that both presidential and parliamentary elections were manipulated by leftist forces, more specifically by North Korea and China. Although the prosecution attempted to raid the NEC to investigate these allegations, it was impossible due to the NEC’s immunity from such actions. As a result, after declaring martial law, 90% of military forces were deployed to the NEC to seize its servers. A small number of personnel were sent to the National Assembly as a distraction. Regarding election fraud, former President Trump has also viewed it as a critical issue, and it is believed that prior discussions between Trump and President Yoon may have taken place. Additionally, on the day martial law was declared, there was a meeting with the President of Kyrgyzstan in the afternoon. Kyrgyzstan has previously had to hold a re-election due to issues with manipulated election ballot machines manufactured in Korea. It appears that President Yoon exchanged various pieces of information during this meeting.

While 50 unarmed soldiers arrived at the parliament within an hour, 300 soldiers stormed the election commission just six minutes after the martial law declaration. The soldiers attempting to enter the parliament were merely a decoy. In a scenario resembling a movie, democracy was defended through undemocratic means.

There are millions of korean citizens who support the president's action on 12-03. You should dig why it started, why the soldiers carried weapons without ammo in the city, why the president sent militery to korean national election commision. The president sent troops without ammo to capital hall building, but sent troops fully equipped to national election commision. Maybe he had no business in capital but the elcetion commision. This is not about a president who wants more power on his hands. This is fight of millions korean people against socialists and comunists who are controling 2/3 of korea parliment. Korea has become a country where the constitution cannot arrest one politician who is accused of many different crimes. While investigating him, 6 of his staffs who also accused of same crime were found dead. Its been several years trying to arrest this man but the democratic party is protecting him with all the power they have. The democratic party impeached prosecutors who investigate their leader. And they keep impeaching the prosecutors whoever comes next. Now they are playing with goverment budget, and it is a joke. I will write a few 1. Assigned $0 for district prosecutor 2. Assigned $0 for board of audit and inspection. 3. Assigned $0 for president. Basically the democrats assigned zero dollar for key deparment who investigate politicians doing unlawful. Ppl showing tears in the street, they are the supports of the democratic party. And the medias in korea are more rigged than cnn. This is status of democracy in korea. It seems people laughing at his failed militery action but the supports know it was his final strugle and we thank for his courage. So this is my side of the story.

@@KanchanNainEverything's fine. No violence or grave danger towards the citizens have been issued. However, to completely end this situation, the président should withdraw his déclaration as the parliament has already voted that it was unreasonable. We're still waiting for it.

Choi Kyu-ha (1979 - 1980) - overthrown by military coup 5. Chun Doo-hwan (1981-1988) - sentenced to death after completing his presidential term. 6. Roh Tae-woo (1988-1993) - sentenced to 22 years in prison after completing his presidential term. 7. Kim Young-sam (1993-1998) - imprisoned before his presidential term. As president, he secured the conviction of his two predecessors. 8. Kim Dae-jung (1998-2003) - Impeached and sentenced to death before becoming president (later pardoned). Nobel Peace Prize laureate. 9. Roh Moo-hyun (2003-2008) - Impeached (overturned by the Constitutional Court). Under investigation for corruption after his term ended. Committed suicide 10. Lee Myung-bak (2008-2013) - Arrested after completing his presidential term and is currently under arrest on corruption charges. 11. Park Geun-hye (2013-2016) - Impeached.
