Sitting Thiruvananthapuram MP Shashi Tharoor is locked in a tough, three-way battle with the BJP and CPI as he seeks re-election for a fourth term from the seat. In an exclusive conversation, Tharoor criticised Prime Minister Modi for his recent remarks on 'wealth redistribution', calling it blatantly communal. Calling the speech polarising and unbecoming of a Prime Minister, Tharoor clarified that Congress has made no mention of redistributing wealth to Muslims in their manifesto.
