During the days of Indenture, people were brought in from areas of low economic standing- poorer neighbourhoods. Some from Rural areas. They were all promised the World but when they came to the Colonies it was hell. They were treated like slaves but only without chains. They were all picked up in India through Agents and had records in the offices of Immigration and or in the archives of the owners of the Indentured persons.
