My mom controlled and reversed her diabetes by; breakfast 2-3 hours after wake up after consuming water or light sugarless tea Drinking water made with cucumber rinds, blended (helps with blood sugar levels) Papaya seeds are also known for helping with sugar levels Morning and after noon walks at minimum for exercise (aerobic) Cinnamon tea and various other including green and black, no sugar. Meals were mainly keto with no more than half a cup of simple carbs as in white rice. Much easier to digest since your pancreas doesn’t have to pump out as much insulin to break down. Kept her food a bit saltier to maintain good electrolyte levels Light dinner or no dinner A positive attitude I know it seems like a lot but once you have them available to you it only gets easier. Hope that helps 🇺🇸

Great to see you back at it Chris! I've been using those tarp clips for awhile now! Get them cheap at Menard's. I also use the Nite ize cam jams to create ridge poles! No need to remember knots! Easy peasy! Now that I'm in south Texas permanently I can find new areas to camp and explore. 😊

Excellent channel and you Chris you are absolutely extremely knowledgeable . Keep doing all the things that made you so valuable to our community. I humbly suggest some new knife, axe/ machete designs. You have made some winners in the past. Keep this channel laser focused on Prepared mind stuff. The deep meta physics can live somewhere else for you. I would like to see you do Alone.

Good to see you out and about Chris. Yes being outdoors is very healing for the mind. I just got laid off my job of 22 years yesterday. Im bummed a little. Going to take some time this weekend to sort my thoughts, will get outside in the oak forest for sure to clear my thoughts.

I like the idea behind this. I have a problem with many of the gear review channels. Im not going out on massive 30 day wilderness survival challenges. The idea of taking a walk, having a little fire, maybe making a brew, having a bag to hold a few bits and pieces in. Thats the level for me. Sure gear is fun but it gets a bit ott sometimes.

Hey Chris, my Dad has "diabeetus" too, he makes his famous pepper steak, ya know, rice chipped beef and peppers with diced tomatoes, it is sooooo good but it sure helps with his sugar. Just another possible option for ya. Cool to see the OG camo jacket again!

Chris, As far as rewaterproofing your coat. Get a can of the product Camp Dry and spray it on it. You can find it in the camping and outdoor section of any Walmart. I use it on mine plus on my canvas tent. Works great and repeals water.

Hey Chris, I’ve been using Nick wax for a long time on my Gore-Tex jackets and it seems to work for a while you can spray it on, or you can use the washing one. I tend to go with the wash in one.. it definitely makes them water proof again

Wash the gortex shell first. When it gets dirty the membrane gets funked up and looses water proofness and breath ability. The treat it if you need it. Also clean up your old camp site. It’s just trash now. What water filter did they trash? Following you every day bud. Dig it.

@@preparedmind101 Glomerular Filtration Rate. It’s a measure of kidney function/ kidney disease. It’s a critical measurement that you need to know. GFR can be measured through a simple blood test. To be honest, any doctor who saw your A1c was over 10, should have already ordered blood tests and other key kidney function markers.
