Completely understandable. The other shiny compilation videos took around 3 months to come out, so it’d be ridiculous to expect a compilation video for a project this big to take any less time. I honestly wouldn’t be surprised if it takes 5+ months to finish, especially if it ends up being over an hour long. But regardless, please take all the time you need for it, John. I’ll be patiently waiting.

My sister's record for finding shinies within an hour is 6. And that's WITHOUT a sandwich. I know, because I was there and cursing her endlessly. Love this. Wish I could have participated! I have such rotten shiny luck though 😂 didn't help subscribing John, didn't help. I feel like you owe me. An apology at least lol. Wish it was possible to add scrnshots, cause I just took the Failinks fail. And ugh it's bad John 😂 Last edit, I promise. But imagine John going into the Guinness record book for most shiny fails in 24 hours lol.

Hey if pokemon follow animal logic most likely alot of shinies would be left behind by their family.... a color that stands out in the environment isn't a good thing for most baby animals. they will become a beacon for animals that will eat them

It's kinda weird to set "world record" like that. You can just get more ppl to do it and you will beat it. I mean ammount of work is still impresive but world records should have some restrictions so it would be fair challange.

I can tell from this comment that you didn't look into the record at ALL before sending this, but that's okay! The record we were trying to beat is an official Guinness world record set in 2022 when a group of 172 Pokemon content creators came together and caught 588 shiny Pokemon. I got a bit over 90 Pokemon content creators together to try to beat the record, so we actually did NOT get more people and in reality had WAY less then the original group had. We did have a new Pokemon game to work with that made shiny hunting easier overall, but the record is not game specific!
