That isn't a question I can answer, but knowing Nora, she has a lot of extra copies of games. She's been shiny hunting for a very very long time so I wouldn't put it past her to have untouched copies of all the Ranger games.

​@@ritasonka330 She had a total of 80 eggs that she was hatching repeatedly, and it was QUITE a process to get it streamlined to that point. Step 1: Egg Generation. The way the Ranger games generate Manaphy eggs, as she explained it, is there's a check in the background of the cartridge itself, independent of the save file, that checks if the cartridge has generated an egg or not. So without actually going in and changing that check in the cartridge's data, you only get one per cartridge. But changing that check is exactly what she did, generating 80 legitimate eggs. Step 2: Trading. Game Freak tried to prevent shiny Manaphy from being a thing by making it impossible for the Manaphy to be shiny for the save file the egg was generated to, so you then need to trade all of your eggs to ANOTHER save file in order for them to actually have a chance to be shiny. Step 3: Hatch Cycles. Because some Pokémon take more steps to hatch than others, they needed to be carried around through most of their hatch cycle before the event and all saved within a few steps of hatching. This was a simple matter of just biking up and down with the eggs before the event. Step 4: IDs and Shininess. Because a pokemon's shininess is based on the Trainer ID and hidden Special ID matching the trainer's, and those numbers are generated when the egg is generated, the ONLY possible way to shiny hunt the same eggs repeatedly is to reset the trainer ID and special ID. Normally you can only do that by restarting the game from the beginning and playing to the point you can trade the egg in and hatch it. But Nora, being the Pokémon tech whiz she is, programmed the game so that she only had to talk to an NPC and all the save files' IDs would change. Step 5: Shiny Check. Because Manaphy was never meant to be a possible shiny hunt, it doesn't have an animation for hatching shiny. So she had to hatch all the eggs at once and then go into her party and check them all, hence the shiny reveal was in the stats menu. So there she was, for over 14 hours, hatching and checking the same 80 Manaphy and resetting her trainer IDs between batches, over and over and over until she finally got the shiny. And to be clear, those were all completely legitimate Manaphy, and she put in the hours of legwork hunting those at full 1/8192 shiny odds. She just removed a lot of the tedious time grind needed to check them the normal way.
