Well done for coping with the wind and weather. Many excellent shots, particularly the 9F 'working' through the seasonal gloom. All good.

Nice to see some parts of the UK where all you have is the railway and the countryside, no roads, no catenary. Beautiful.

Superb captures as always, thanks Liam and Phil. It was a joy to watch the S15 and 9F operating the Optimist on the NYMR and what a fabulous final still of the S15! The interesting location names add much to the atmosphere (as well as being informative). Your shot of 'Galberta' at 14:20 is sublime. Kind regards, Bob

Two videos in one. Nothing could possibly surpass it. What you captured was, I'm 100% certain, Steam Supreme. I can't think of any other way to describe it.

Lovely shots of the S15 and the 9F. Interesting to compare their speeds (with the same loading) - the 9F's extra tractive effort and boiler capacity are evident. But both, lovely locos. And of course, both designed for main-line freight, which fortuitously suits them quite well for hauling medium-length passenger trains up steep gradients on a preserved line.
@MarshSteamVideosTM3 жыл бұрын
Yes, exactly
@vikingsmb3 жыл бұрын
they need to up the speed limit on the line from 25 to about 30-35 to give the trains a better run up at the gradients

Cheers Graham, It can be a bit tiring adding all the captions for locations, especially if the video is long, glad you enjoyed it.

Great footage, I particularly enjoyed the sequential editing, made it appear as though you had a team of cameramen!

Thanks very much, just the two of us for this one, wouldn't say no to a team of cameramen.

Lovely footage, but why are British (the inventors of steam trains) trains and locos so much smaller than their American equivalents?
@MarshSteamVideosTM4 жыл бұрын
I couldn't tell you, America has always done things on a bigger scale.
