46100 'Royal Scot' Non-Stop Through Goathland (NYMR 2024)

LMS 46100 'Royal Scot' heads none stop through Goathland Station on an empty coaching stock move to Pickering. A non stop run through Goathland is a pretty rare sight, especially on passenger stock. LMS Royal Scot class is visiting the North Yorkshire Moors Railway for a week of half term services and is running from the 10th Feb to the 18th of Feb. The Scot was drawn in to replace 70000 'Britannia' which was unavailable due to the loco awaiting parts for a repair. This is just one of our scenes from a four day visit, the full video should be available later next week.

Thank you for braving a Pommy winter. I like cold weather, but it must have been 'brrrr' for you. Steam is always more atmospheric in such conditions, with steam heated carriages (not something we've ever had in southern Australia) further enhancing. Keep up the classy video productions: many appreciate your joint efforts.

I think that’s her BR number vs LMS 6100. Flying Scotsman’s is 60103 vs LNER 4472.
