Hi, i‘m preparing with PMBOK 6th edition from last 2 months and my plan is to give CAPM exam in November2021. Do I really have to buy this new book again? Or is it okay if i just work with this 6th edition for 2021 exam? Please answer, thank you 🙏🏻

Your answer is in the video, Maitri. As Nader makes clear, CAPM is based on the 6th Edition. You don't need the 7th Edition. As always, the rule is 'first check with PMI'. Their site currently says: 'While the PMBOK®Guide - Seventh Edition is now available, the CAPM exam is based on the PMBOK®Guide - Sixth Edition. Please continue using the PMBOK®Guide - Sixth Edition as your test preparation tool. More information can be found in the CAPM handbook.' See: www.pmi.org/certifications/certified-associate-capm

How to get PMBOK-7 soft copy without paying for it?

I know PMBOK is ridiculously expensive, but I cannot endorse any form of copyright theft. The cheapest (and maybe only) way to access a soft copy will be to join PMI and then you can download it free. Anyway, it's not available yet - you'll need to wait for 1 August...

@@Onlinepmcourses I believe that the soft copy is available now on Amazon as of July 1st 2021, it is crazy expensive. I think they might release for free for members in August 2021.

@@prajwal8989 If you want the free members' edition, I guess you'll have to wait. It does seem that UK Amazon has marked the release date as 1 July, but the paper copy, which I prefer is still not available until August. I don't know if the Kindle is actually available, but it does look as though it is. And yes, it's crazy expensive and I won't defend PMI's pricing. But consider it as an expense as a part of a 40-year career.
