"PMC Fact 12 Signature" vs. "PMC Twenty5 26" ...first fact12 and second Twenty5 26

I've got the fact 12's in a PMC surround sound system...I clearly should be listening to music more through them...and buy this Andreas Vollenweider album. Never heard of him... thanks for the introduction!

Both fantastic speakers in their relevent price ranges. Obviously the fact 12 being almost twice the cost will have the edge over the twenty-five 26 . Would like to hear the facts go up against kudos 606 and maybe the 26s against ATC sm 40 or even fact 8s

Hi, The PMC , there Did not seem Tell me a lot of difference between the two pairs, I was told 40 odd years ago that you should never test speakers next to another pair of speakers as they can cause harmonics, I have built my own pair of transmission line speaker cabinets 40 odd years ago from a plan that was in a hi-fi magazine I had a colleague who was Into electronics he had some testing equipment and we purchased a special Microphone to do the sound testing late at night, People thought they were amazing, I have just recently replaced the driver units for SEAS , Tweeters and Woofer, I did not change the crossover unit and the cabinets I think sound even better still they have got very very deep bass response, i test my speakers by playing Toccata and Fugue in D minor, There is not many speakers that can handle this without a lot of distortion, I think this is one of the best pieces of music has it has got a very high and very low notes and everything in between, I listen to opera heavy metal and dark Nordic music and they all perform very well on my cabinets. And back in the 80s and 90s are used to work for Walker’s organ building company, I used to like pipes, Sorry got waylaid, They look a very impressive speaker cabinet And should do at the price, Then of course is the amplifier, it’s okay for people were money is no object, I look forward to some more information on them, PHIL FROM THE DARK SIDE OF THE MOULIN FRANCE,

Rożnica ewidentnie na korzyść Fac12, większa głębia,rozdzielczość,muzykalność. Rożnica w cenie PMC FAC 12 - 80 000zł PMC 26 -27 000zł. Kolumny tylko dla ludzi co nie wiedzą na co wydać pieniądze...)

I had both of Fact 12 and 526i, frankly, I did not think there are so big difference in between. Maybe it's because the music type.. For some music focus on human voice and treble, 526i even have better performance.

Those facts are exact, but boring. The 26 sound more musical but a bit muddy. Now make a cross between these two.

Maybe the cheaper Twenty5 26 has poorer separation due to woofer and mid-bass driver control problem. (Can't avoid that due to imperfection of drivers designed)

wow, the fact (sorry!) that I can hear a massive difference just by hearing through headphones is astonishing. the Fact12 definitely wins out with more definition and more revealing. Good stuff

living with both speakers what are your thoughts? is there a big improvement over the Twenty5 26? bass extension etc...

The "fact 12" cost twice as much, if it weren't better then it would be very strange! I now have the "fact 12" and it is better in all positions, especially in the bass range! The "fact 12" is a world class loudspeaker regardless of the price. This is my opinion...

That means that maybe the image of Fact 12 is perfect as the midrange also has better resolution than Twenty5 26.

PMC is lying to its customers and is incapable of designing a proper loudspeaker. The i series is a particularly massive failure with WAY TOO MUCH bass reponse. Speaker is totally imbalanced. I suppose PMC does not have a drug testing program in place for its employees.
