Barn swallows are fabulous predator alarms for my martins! My bluebird box is 6 feet high and about 10 feet from the Martin house- no competition aside from when the blue birds want to perch on top of the Martin house to browse for bugs on the ground.

Any chance you have references or video links for the battery / solar conversion of the song bird magnet?

Thanks for that I purchased one! Was there an additional cable you needed to purchase? Seems the ones that come with it, none of the ends fit in the power port of the songbird magnet.

@@MobileTyler The cord that comes with the magnet should fit into the port underneath the back cover of the device. If you're still having trouble after you've removed the back cover, you can call the manufacturer Bird-X at 866.827.4822

Do the birds accept cash or check ?
@PurpleMartinConservation11 ай бұрын
The martins accept most flying insects, but to protect and understand these birds, conserve the habitats crucial to their survival, and help educate the public about their importance, the PMCA accepts either - or more importantly, we accept people's invaluable time and energy to host Purple Martins!
