PMD Personality Test (Re-Orchestrated)

This is how it all begins with Blue and Red Rescue Team, and every game in the series afterward! In the Mystery Dungeon games as most of you know (probably because I refuse to not celebrate Mystery Dungeon whenever possible) you have to take a quiz in the first two games in the series to have your character selected. I have so many memories associated with this music, and I'm really pleased with how my take on it turned out. I've been working a lot more on my mastering style and learning new techniques, so if you notice a difference in my strings mainly, that would be why! This song sounds like a mystery to me, if that even makes sense, and I like me some mystery so I like me some Mystery Dungeon! It's a really atmospheric song, and I think that's what makes it so beautiful. Thanks for watching, Dragoknights, and stay tuned for more music soon!

I always got mudkip. It's kinda funny because mudkip was my very first pokemon. Anyway this remix re-news the feels I get when playing this game. I remember when I had to be a fugitive and the "Run away" music came up. I shed so many tears on that part. How can such a smart pokemon like Alakazam be fooled into thinking I was the one who upset the balance of the world?

It does sound silly, but think about it. So he joins you, what would 4 pokemon do against the world? Plus it would completely ruin his reputation if they failed to clear their names in time. That is why he let you run in the first place. Give you a chance to clear your names.

I really have to hand it to you, HD! A lot of orchestral covers just sort of slap on the basic instruments and it sounds canned, but not so with your work. You do a great job of keeping the feel of the original song and it's A+. (Also, this just helped me calm down from a panic attack, woohoo)

I adore the Mystery Dungeon games, but I feel like SMD really just missed the mark, partially because the soundtrack was so forgettable. I missed songs like this one, that left such an impression on players.

This is a true musicians work, only orchestras could master this, this music should have more that just 30k views, it deserves 1million views, this is something not everybody knows, nor not everybody appreciates this music, but I'll tell you this, in the future, there might not be something that is truly better that this, because this is music, a true masterpiece, a true masterpiece that warms my heart and gives us a strange feeling, that feeling is music, and true time and effort

I usually got Torchic, because Blaziken was my favorite Pokemon, so I'd always try to get Torchic, but I restarted the game right now, and I got Treecko.

I first got Charmander as my character and Pikachu as my partner for Red Rescue Team. I didn't want to change it because I was used to seeing their faces and expressions on the cutscenes of the game.

Am I the only one who missed this in the new game? I played its demo and was sorta disappointed, and this is partially why. You can't just go choosing who you are, you are who you are whether you like it or not.

I'd like to see maybe just a little extra reverb on that harp (that last hit each time is quite harsh without it). By the way, which library is the glockenspiel from? It's so nice!

Even though Sky Tower was hard as ever, I still love the games. I'm really hoping the next Mystery Dungeon game feels more like the originals.

PMD is my favorite video game series. I reset my Eon every summer. Thus summer I got a Pikachu with a mudkip as my partner on pmd blue, and on sky I'm a shinx with a vulpix as my partner 😄

In the past, when I played R/B rescue team, I was always torchic for some reason, usually with chikorita as a partner. Recently, I tend to get something like treecko or cubone. In PMD sky, I got riolu the first time around, with torchic mixed in sometimes.

Thank you very much! I seem to remember in my first run of BRT getting Bulbasaur and Pikachu, and when I took the test again last night with Lugia she got a Charmander and I still got Bulbasaur. In EoT I remember getting Piplup who I partnered with Turtwig, in EoD I got Chimchar who I paired with Pikachu, in EotS I got Shinx and I paired it with Piplup, and then uh...Gates to Infinity let me choose Axew. How do I remember all that haha...
