So Udemy alone would work? Do I have to pay for TIA simulator?
@meeranchand29707 ай бұрын
TIA is different websites owned by Andrew Ramdayal itself ,and udemy is different platform where Andrew Ramdayal has put their PMP 35PDU Course to understand all stuff related to PMP exam sylebus and inside .... so take a course from Udemy ,finish that course on udemy ,and then next buy TIA simulator (approx 45$ or50$) from tia websites, and practice simulator .... and then write PMP exam if u r confident of clearing PMP exam or you started getting 90% or 85% score in TIA simulator test....

Omg, I try to get pdu in 6 months early. We all have been idiots.😢. I used your material to pass pmp exam. Your questions were so hard. Great job!

Note it in your issue log and keep it for the return of experience. Probably this problem is in your risk register ;-)

You can renew way before the end date. I renewed mine within an year of getting PMP and now it expires in 2028.

SImple solution; always be 3 year ahead of the game. I completed my PDUs within 30 days of getting my initial PMP, paid the fees (half off as a member) and now my PMP experation date was just shy of 6 years ahead. Now, as I approach my 3 year mark, I will submit and pay for the additional 3 year extension, pushing the date back near the 6 year mark. I somewhat did the same with my CISSP. I completed the 120 CEU's within 6 months of getting my CISSP covering me for the 6 years, but with them, we must pay the annual fee within the window so it will never be 6 years out. I'm sure you are in the same situation as me; we need to stay on top of all these IT certs so much that we are constantly knocking out online classes like Udemy so we always have plenty of credits to use here and there. Currently, my employer is paying for all the associated fees for all this junk. The day that stops, I will question renewing MANY lower certs. I will keep the PMP, CISSP certs as I am too old to start from the beginning, but ITIL, Comptia, etc. Those can go.

We’re all human, don’t be too hard on yourself. You are far from an idiot or moron. Thanks for the good advice Andrew

Same thing happened to me and my DASM cert through PMI. I just added in the TWO hours I was short and paid the fee. I thought I'd have to redo the cert; thankfully I did not.

Thanks Andrew. That's very thought provoking and cautionary message. Really very helpful as always. Just wanted to know if re-activating after suspension will go in PMI's historical records and if there is any negative impact in case if an employer assess or audit our credentials? Does that get captured in background checks?
@AndrewRamdayal7 ай бұрын
I am not sure if it does. I I doubt there's any negative consequences to it.

Sounds like an opportunity to create an app to track certs and PDUs.

@AndrewRamdayal I'm actually applying to take the PMP now, and I may have missed this section of the online course, but do I have to split up all of my projects within each job or can I "bundle" them into one big "job section" that encapsulates all of my project work?
