Hey David, I am starting my prep for PMI-ACP and want to begin with your Udemy course. However, your course is 21 PDUs and the new structure demands 28 PDUs. Can I go ahead purchase the course and I should expect the course will be updated and I get 28 PDUs? Or do I wait till 08/11 OR till you update the Udemy course to purchase? Please let me know. Thanks!

I am updating it now. It will take a few more weeks, but am adding the new ECO, the extra PDU hours, and additional practice questions too. I'm also totally redoing the ECO structure to fit in a large practice project that we'll go through together. It just makes more sense that way. It's going to be truly awesome! PMI doesn't require the 28 PDUs until March 2025, but I'll update long before then (November 2024) 😊

@@davidmclachlanproject Thank you for your response David. Along with your course, do you recommend any book/guide that is important for PMI-ACP study? For eg. for PMP we commonly refer to and study from PMBOK 6, 7 and Agile practice guide. Is there anything that is similarly critical for PMI-ACP?

I'm working on it now. I'm completely redoing the ECO section to run more like an example project, so it's a lot. You don't need 28 contact hours until March 2025 though (21 PDUs up until then)

It will be based on the new Exam Content Outline. The content is the same however, it is just arranged differently. If you've studied Agile, servant leadership and the various frameworks, you will be ready 🙂

I would wait for an official PMI announcement - as mentioned, old or new the information is largely the same. Keep learning and you will be ok either way!
