Hi. Since there was mention of Change Process in an adaptive/ Agile framework with reference to question-2 ,are we saying that there is no defined Change mechanism or a process in Agile for acceptance and subsequent implementation of Changes. ( Since the environment is predominantly collaborative & there is constant communication ) As Per my understanding there are 2 types of Functional changes in Agile/ Scrum/ Adaptive/ iterative 1. Within the scope (refinement of existing requirements). 2. Outside the scope (new requirements). • We handle changes within the scope via the SCRUM process. That is, via the Product Owner who deals with adjustments to the user stories. However, the changes that fall outside the scope of the project must go through a CCB process. They must first be approved and usually result in a contract change. • It is therefore important to know the difference between inside and outside the scope. So this requires a clear definition of scope at the start of a project and a clear understanding of your backlog items

Hi. With reference to Question 1, how is the Product Backlog refinement done by the product owner ? Is it basis the product vision or is it basis the feedback received from the stakeholders ? or is it done autonomously by the product owner basis his own understanding & acumen? Ultimately even the product vision has been designed to factor in customers hopes & aspirations .. So it seemingly appears that option 2 is also a candidate option. Please clarify

Hello Sumit, Glad to know you are following my session. Let me answer your question: Product owner owns the product and the product backlog. It is the product owner responsibility to groom/refine the backlog continuously. Please keep in mind, you should always pick on option with that you are trying to solve the problem what we have in the question. The problem we have in the question is: key stakeholder reached the team directly which he/she shouldn't have done this. So by doing option C. we are addressing the problem we have in the question. means we are making an agreed workflow between product owner and key stakeholder, it will ensure the same problem not getting repeated in the future.
