I totally agree with Andrew. The greatest defeat of proxy testing is the disadvantage to the person professionally. Yes, you have a cert and the raises your chances to get a better job, but what happens when you get on that job and do not know what you are doing or provide unsatisfactory performance. The entire purpose of the exam is to show the candidate has the needed skills and knowledgebase to be competent in the job. Ultimately cheating like this is self defeating.

YA I agree with you, the happiest thing from taking the PMP exam to me is I learn a lot of useful theories and different ways how to manage a project, i mean getting the certification is great, but to me it is not the important thing to me, the most important thing is to learn something useful and i can apply it in my real life and work.

@@ambalavanant Thanks! PMP Certification Exam Prep Course 35 PDU Contact Hours/PDU by Andrew Ramdayal. This is fully updated for 2023 exam. This is 35 hours course but it took me around 60 hours to complete it as I attempted section-wise mock test and sometimes you listen again to the videos to understand better and make notes.

I'm a freelancer on Fiverr and also a PMP coach! Many clients are coming only to ask to help them pass the exam. That's disappointing, but the most disappointing is that many people offer that service! MY POINT: What if you move to a new organization and be asked to apply some specific PMP frameworks or T/T???? People think twice before cheating you harm yourself! It is better to get trained and never take the exam instead of the opposite!!

I love to see this video. Atleast someone highlighted this issue. I was very upset for last two months by seeing people utilising this illegal method to get PMP certification. Basically, PMI need to intervene & make strict rules. Otherwise, PMI is loosing its standard & its reputation is being down day by day. Situation is like that if someone does hard work & get it done ✔️, others have doubt on his / her capability by imagining that he or she would had done it illegally. Really disappointing. been going on since the pandemic. I almost subscribed to it, got all my setup ready and such. Guy from India charging $700 plus cost of PMP exam. The issue with PMI proctor is that they may not be inspecting the "task manager" for any questionable process. doing so will enable them to see if there are any questionable process in the background (remote desktop). I backed up the last minute, because I could not live with myself having a PMP that I never earned myself. I have multiple industry certs from ISACA, Cisco, ISC2, EC-Council that I EARNED myself. I decided to push through and watch your videos from Udemy, reading your book, Agile Practice Guide, and your online practice exam. I havent attempted the exam, but I know it's going to be worth it when I pass it one day. Cheers!

Andrew, you're on it! I also read this last night in said forum and I was honestly so glad someone finally posted about it! People pursuing the PMP need to know how unethical this is. Not just that, it's very unsafe and someone who follows through, gets caught will never be able to sit for the actual PMP. The same incident has happened to me on LinkedIN and was extremely sketchy.

Well said. I got the same experience from linkedin connection, they offered me Pmp certification with additional 6 certifications, for 700USD. I know that's illegal and I ignore it. I started your Udemy course, its very helpful for me.

I came across this recently and was astonished it existed. I was approached on LinkedIn. I would feel naked having the certification without knowing anything. I just couldn't face my employer or colleagues. I haven't received my PMP yet but I'd rather fail on my own.

I was approached by a person on LinkedIn offering same services. I tried to get as much as information possible about their organization and other PMI members who got their certification by such practices. Then I opened a complaint with PMI so that they can take further actions.

I did the same in 2020 but PMI replied that I have to raise this complaint at different channel, which was strange and showed the unwillingness of PMI to act on my complaint.

@@soni30880 I got the same reply from PMI stating they have closed the complaint. These people are not PMI members and PMI cannot take any actions against them as such. I would not be surprised if PMI stops proxy monitored exam and goes back to classroom based exam.

As a security profesional, i wouldn't let access to my computer to somebody that i don't know. It's like giving the keys of your house. Malware, acces to your data, iot, passwords, etc... Very stupid idea.

This unethical activity is happening across the globe now. PMI should do something to stop it. I have also once reported about such ads on LinkedIn and other platforms to PMI but they took it lightly. PMP exam is super tough and no one can pass it in 10 days or 1 month. It takes mountainous efforts to crack it. I had went through that pain and hard work to earn my PMP credentials.

That said it is very annoying and frustrating when people come to you on linkedin offering to "help" you pass the exams. I totally agree that just certification will not serve good and everyone should proud of their efforts and learnings to get the certification. What about the bootcamp classes? The classes that you take for 10 days. Are these classes no good. These classes are given by legitimate schools. How do we determine what is a legitimate course and what is not? Everyone trying to sell us a products or books stating that they have the "best methods" to pass these exams. Its so frustrating.

Hi Andrew, will you update your CAPM course on Udemy for 2023? I enrolled in 2022 and only completed 1/4th of the course. The course is amazing but I do not want to go through the old syllabus first to get my 23 contact hours and then study all over again for the new CAPM 2023.
