Question 4. The question states that some KEY requirements impact the legislation, so even performing a MVP these elements most probably will not be eliminated from the features. It results impractical.

For Q1. How can we add missed scope in the WBS in execution phase without the Change Management process is being followed? Scope is already baselined.

Hello. Yes, PICC needs to be followed. The question is not saying that it should be avoided.

@@PMPwithRay I am working and I attended a Pmp training and have gained 35 pdu. Still preparing for exam, but finding it difficult allocate time to study with office work and being a mom of 2 kids. Please suggest me a plan that may help me prepare and pass the exam in next 30 days. Ur inputs will be very helpful for me. According to me I am 50 ℅ prepared.

For Q2--I thought that cost baselines are fixed. Don't we use cost baselines to do EVM and compare to actual costs? So if we keep changing it, isn't it mute? I chose C, management reserves, because the graph seems to show that costs are higher than we anticipated and so we will need to tap into management reserves to cover these unknown popups.

Cost baselines are fixed until changed via the PICC process.

Sir can you explain the first question? How can we just blindly add the missing part in the wbs without having stakeholders involvement? And also CCB process should be followed. Please explain this so i can clear this confusion. Moreover M&C is performed throughout the lifecycle including planning as well.

Hi, option A is not asking you to add the requirements blindly. I would advise you to re-watch the answer explanation section for this part.

I'm confused as well. If there's an indication that this is an Agile project, then C would have made sense. C is not applicable in a Predictive approach

Hello, there is no partial marking for multi-select Q's. You need to get all the options correct to get full marks.

One of the project team members missed completing an assigned deliverable on time, despite repeated assurances from the team member that it would be completed on time. As a project manager, what should you do next? 1- Meet with the team member and work on a development plan for them to avoid missed deliverables in the future. 2- Hold a team meeting to discuss team member commitments and communications. 3- Give the team member a formal warning for the negative impact due to failure to deliver and not meet deadlines. 4- Record the issue, then refocus the team's efforts on delivering the next set of deliverables.

For Q 5, The client is very clear about the product requirements..Why can't they go forward with a waterfall approach where they will launch the website at a time with all features.. Customer would also like to have all the options before investing. Kindly explain..

For question 1: Execution and monitoring & controlling happens parallelly in a project. So, considering the same can't A be the best answer ? Also for C, don't we need a change request to add the missed scope items in WBS ?

pls see this para from Rita M--"Not all changes require change requests, but change requests are generated from many processes if they require a change to the project management plan or the performance measurement baseline. The three main categories into which changes fall are corrective action, preventive action, and defect repair."

@@heemanshuk4608 He is taking about key deliverables missed out, changes that doesn't require changes are related to specs, features or internal processes which comes under configuration management plan. Answer is A.

Q1: I selected option-A but I see you choose option C, when I searched same on ChatGPT; it showed option D as correct and when I searched same on google, it is showed option- A. Still don’t know which one is most accurate. Anyways thanks for your videos. Appreciate it.

I agree, Option A sounds better answer. Validate scope should not be perceived from a process perspective. If it is processed, then we should add it to WBS, execute and then validate. But here in this case it says to check suitability to understand if it fits. Adding it to wbs and calculating would be the reactive answer because maybe it is not possible even to add it to WBS back since execution happened. And C would require CCB as well. D also might be an issue but it only includes expert judgment, so I eliminate it since we are not including other stakeholders to the decision making.

@@versatilemanager, @PMPwithRay , i also support the option A as the best choice, also when execute and monitor and control go hand in hand, hence option A is making more sense. Option C means that we are changing the Project Scope without even putting that into the CCB, remember Scope baseline cannot be changed unless there is a CCB approval. Further the Scope Baselines = Scope Statement + WBS + WBS dictonary.
