BIG CAT 🚨‼️!! You have a great shot but you can improve it a ton by keeping your left hand up in your follow through just like your right!! This old man that worked with Steph curry and ray allen on their Jumpshots was in western ky at my local gym for some reason. Said he har medals for free throw contests hitting like 100 in a row or something. I didn’t know what to believe but he had pictures of everything,then I got to see him play 😮. He told me I could shoot free throws or three pointers and everytime I missed it was his turn to go until he misses, so on, so on. But the catch was he shoots with his eyes closed, mine stay open….

But he deadass beat me when I was like 19-20 y/o and he had to be every day of 70. He wore gloves to grip the basketball bc I think he lost grip strength. He hit like 35 in a row at one point blindfolded. Had me try it on and everything before. But he pretty much gave me a free 30 minute lesson in the form of a game. Wonderful teacher. He made me like a 10x better shooter in that short time. I hit 11 3 pointers in a row at one point and jumped up 33 points before I missed and it was his turn. But he would never hit less than 15 FTs in a row blindfolded. He whopper my sss in that game then played a full court pickup game with 18-30 y/o’s. I have his business card somewhere I stg this is all true lol.

But all he taught me was feet shoulder width apart, dominant hands leg slightly forward, your natural shooting motion while making sure it’s all in one motion starting from bending ankles, knees, hips, shoulders, arms, and finally a hard flick of the wrist. And he stressed the most important part is to keep both your shooting hand and your support/non-dominate hand up hanging after your shot, straight up 90 degree angle, no bend. Like how kids say “Kobe!!” And keep their shooting form up in the air forever, turns out that’s super important in controlling the ball going off track on its x-axis or left to right. Start with free throws and work on the form til it’s automatic. That’s what he did wirh me for 5 minutes and it changed my basketball life forever. Sorry not the best at explaining things briefly.
