The two best cheap guitars in my arsenal are: The Epiphone SG Classic you had demonstrated a while ago. Mean machine - the P90's are fantastic, alive and the guitar is fun to play. The other is the Danelectro 59XT. It's a real cool looking guitar and sounds terrific!! Great instruments for reasonable money. Some of these leave you wondering how they can be made that well for so little money. Thanks for your demos. Very enjoyable!

Saying that, they were ALL great and really not a dud in the bunch! And you forgot the most dynamic Ibanez player of all,...Mrs. Smith!!! Keep on Rockin' my Friend!!! Seriously, many of these KZbin guitar channel hosts are really annoying, which is actually appropriate, because many guitar players are really annoying. Don't look shocked, you agree. You're videos are informative and entertaining and I appreciate the information. Btw, I find it odd that the 'cheap" Jem has a mahogany body, while the top of the line is...poplar, I believe. Im not slagging poplar. I make my living working, mainly, with poplar and it's a good hardwood. And if it's acceptable to James Burton, that's good enough for me. But mahogany is no longer plentiful nor cheap. And needs filler to get prior to finishing.

The infinity pickups are awesome and compliment the brightness of Poplar well. Poplar isn't a traditional tone wood and sometimes gets a bad rap, deemed to be ugly and cheep. I don't think that's fair burl poplar is known for beautiful figuring and commends a high price. Poplar is also very sustainable and whats more grows long and strong so makes it perfect to make things out of lie furniture and guitars. Tonality wise its bright like maple and coupled with the infinity pickups (which are contemporary high output ceramic pickups they sound amazing.

@raytorvalds36993 жыл бұрын
I would get the non-trem one. Trems on cheap guitars are more often than not a nightmare for longevity and tuning stability. In my experience, anyway. Good luck ! Edit, also keep in mind that the GRGR131EX has an HH setup with 24 frets, where as the GRX70QA has HSH with 22 frets. So you'll have to decide which of those specs are suited more to your needs. The GRGR131EX also looks much cooler with the reversed headstock and upside down shark tooth inlays. But that is just my opinion.
