Yup. Touch of reverb really makes this baby sound bigger. I don't have a physical pedal but whether through software in DAW or with a builtin effect in a recording device (I have a couple of Tascam MTRs) I am amazed how polished and "expensive" my amateur noodlings can sound.
@leswright41082 жыл бұрын
@@benallmark9671 I think he means amp... I add reverb or other effects via plug-ins in a DAW, or within one of my recorders that can add such effects. I have more than one electrified guitar but only a tiny 10w practice Amp. I do most of my fiddling and modifying running the guitars through one of these configurations and if I want to listen to myself other than through headphones I can patch the output through to my home stereo. Yeah I know a serious musician needs a proper Amp. But I do fine.

@@generalawareness101 your right. I took one look at it and thought it was a weird ukulele. I went with a Yamaha APX600 with the maple top. Very happy with it.
@generalawareness1012 жыл бұрын
@@patrickobrien163 I was looking at that one as well, but how is its neck in thickness? I mean this guitar should have had a neck about half this thickness being everything else is 3/4 the size. For me I can't do more than about 21mm thick necks, and that is pushing it as I hurt myself to the point of almost needing surgery on a thicker neck guitar. I gave up on guitar and after four months of healing I get twinges still but nothing like the hellish pain I was in 24x7. So, no more even "normal" sized necks for me.
@patrickobrien1632 жыл бұрын
@@generalawareness101 the neck definitely smaller than a Dreadnaught. I found it very comfortable. I do however put a different set of strings using an unwound G string makes it so much easier and enjoyable to play. You lose a bit on the bottom end but it's worth it. I use 44, 36, 30, 18, 13, 10. Doing this l went from not playing it to enjoying it. I mostly play electric. I have a Black Stratocaster and a Polar White Telecaster. I also really like the plug in option on the APX and on board tuner. Always in perfect pitch. Happy trails my friend. For the money, an excellent guitar and value. 🍻 cheers!

Hi Sam. I wish you do something which I can't find online. I hope you could compare these small guitars to larger guitars, but only through the pickup/pre-amp. For example, compare the APX-T2 to the APX, CPX, and FG. But all with the same, or about the same, electronics. You can compare them acoustically, but many people want to know, I'm sure, is can you make a small guitar sound big when amplified? What really is the difference when you are performing and using a dreadnought or this little travel guitar, but the main sound people are hearing is through the amp? I've got a Boss VE-8, and so additionally, and perhaps separately, if the same pickup still has a big difference, then how would (or could you) use effects to make the tiny guitar sound like a dreadnought?

@@anth-ny you're welcome. I switched from 11's to 9-45 gage on my accoustic because the thick gage hurt to play. My guitar goes out of tune a lot because of the light gage putting extra tension on the neck. Yes,the strings going out of tune sucks, but its not a big deal.
