I honestly gotta say that Awoken is different compared to "Rainbow Factory" or "Pegasus Device" in the sense that unlike the other 2, its not so much of an mlp targeted song when you hear the lyrics, it's more or less a song that can fit to any media where a character's sick and tired of harming others, and they choose to break free from this cycle, and choose to oppose the force that wanted them to hurt people.(Legends of Vox Machina, Homestuck, avatar, etc.)

I often felt that I didn't really qualify because I was so aware that my hallucinations and voices were not real, but my paranoia and delusions were BEYOND real to me. Usually the delusions go hand-in-hand with hallucination, but there always tends to be isolated hallucinations, which patients can usually recognize as false. So, I don't think it's too far fetch as long as there is some aspect to their symptoms that they can't distinguish between real and fake. There is always gonna be some kind of self-awareness with every case, especially after diagnosis.

I heard a friend sing the chorus of Rainbow Factory and that led to it for me. I had coincidentally (and a rather contrived coincidence at that) heard (read) the lyrics in a chat room previously, and that made me curious enough to read the fanfiction. after reading, I came to the conclusion, with a high degree of certainty, that the stereotype by which I was judging the series was faulty and, at the very least, too simplistic, so I decided to watch it. For a while now, I've been looking at the last 5 seconds of the video and just kept wondering what that meant. At first, I thought it would be an idea for a new video in which there is a new H8_Seed along with the original and there would be some sort of confrontation, but there never was a video like that. I was so curious until I t now when it hit me. I've always considered this song to be about redemption. Somepony was in a factory, murdering other ponies, but he was able to find the good within himself and set himself free from that terrible deed he was doing. He was able to get out of doing such a terrible thing and start a new life away from his previous one. I interpreted this video as saying "no matter how far gone you are, there is always a way back for you" and that last portion of this song was showing that the old H8_Seed that killed ponies is gone and the second version of him, the one that sees the sanity within himself and sees how precious life is, is here to stay.
