It doesn't cease to amaze me how this story is more in character than the actual Rainbow Factory story. The ponies in charge of the rainbow machine have clear regrets and aren't just doing it for their own evil enjoyment, and Rainbow Dash is way more in character here, trying to delay the death as long as she can and breaking down into tears multiple times.

I bought the RDP dvd a few years ago and watched every episode over and over, mostly because I was bored, but also because Dawnsomewhere's animations were my introduction to the brony fandom back in 2011.
