Really with todays technology, I think PODS needs to go away. They are cool but require maintenance and maintenance just like anything else that big being stuck under water. You can have the same thing out of yacht controller that syncs the bow and aft thruster together, as well as the main engines. I don’t know about everyone else but I don’t need a joystick in open waters, I can do that with throttles alone. Both manufacturers are still stuck on making these.
