In other videos it said to never clamp for more than a few seconds when suspecting an air leak because you could then cause a tension pneumothorax.

Hi 👋. Thank you so much for this easy to understand video. My husband just discharged from Kindred hospital 4 days ago after about 6 weeks. He had to have a chest tube inserted into his left lung after they saw he had a collapsed lung. Tension Pneuthorax was diagnosed. And about 3 weeks ago, he rolled on to his right side, accidentally pulling out the tube. It was checked out, and it was determined it didn't need to be reinserted. He was healing very well. But, the wound wasn't stitched up. Only bandaged and sealed on 3 sides. We're supposed to be visited by an RN. Should I just leave it alone until the nurse comes?
