Purpose is key. For others it can similarly be described as a 'mission'. For me, both of them are the equivalent of meaning, but with added direction. Meaning is in the present tense, purpose is both in the present tense but reaching into the future, for how things could be, and with effort and focus, how things will be. Another great video Brian! Sincere thanks

Ikigai idea is brilliant, and it's somewhat documented in the study paper "Subjective wellbeing, health, and ageing" by prof. Andrew Steptoe. Also the idea reminded me of Marcus Aurelius and his thought from Meditations when he's talking about waking up in the morning to your purpose. Great summary Brian!

Brian: have you wrote a book? If you haven't you should. Even the people that you have interviewed have said that you present their information than they do. Brian, even when I hear you on youtube, your volume and energy is greater than the other videos, on KZbin! Brian: I compare you to a young Tony Robbins or Les Brown. You vibrate energy. Right now you're even better than Tony & Les and they are number 2 & 3 compared to you. You have the ability to write a book and to sell in on KZbin, Oprah, Ellen, Sherri Shepard, and ALL the night time host and the charismatic Black Southern preachers! Go for it! You're the real super star, You seem like you are at least 10 years younger than your birth age!

Hi Brian. Great video! On singularity. My experience with that amount of such intense focus, was being so amazed at my level of mindfulness, hence, productivity. Thanks, Helen

Being a strategist means being proactive and thinking several moves ahead like a chess player. Being reactive on the other hand is nothing more than having a herd mentality and always responding to external stimuli. They wake up and ask which way the wind is blowing so the know which direction they will be going that day. Ikigai. A reason for getting up in the morning. Interest breeds energy. What most people are looking for is hope. The rat study was an amazing experiment. Giving people a sense of hope is akin to allowing them to see the light in a sea darkness. Greatness x 2. Know- certainty. Decide -deci (cut off). Choose a path and commit to it. I love Gary Vee, been following him for a long time. "Shut the F..., pick one or as Jame Altucher would say choose yourself and start winning" The air is a lot cleaner and fresher at the top because their are less people up there. Singularity - infinite density & infinitesimal volume. Wow! Get transformed in the black hole.

The experience with the rats, even though it reveals an interesting fact, is actually very sad and cruel :(

Citation needed on the swimming rats. Other sources for the same factoid say it was Richter in 1957, doi.org/10.1097/00006842-195705000-00004 On fetching it from Sci hub it does talk about drowning rats and hope, and hope helps, but I don't see the factor of 240.
