Unboxing and review of PNY power banks, AK-10K and AK-13K, 10000 and 13200 mAh.
I have a BE520 and the quality is similar to BE740. It is strong sturdy and performs well. BE740 and BE520 are older models and are of better quality. AK6K, AK10K and AK13K are the newer group and are not as good as the older models. So based on the capacity you need, go for BE520 or BE740, just my 2 cents.

Quality wise BE740 & 520, but they have only one usb port. Both are equally good but differ in capacity. You may consider Mi power banks too. If you need two ports, AK-6k, AK-10K or AK-13K. All three are similar quality. Not as sturdy as the above ones.

how to repair it, tht I hv damaged the USB to mobile port of my only 740 , but I'm not getting how to open and repair it,.. it is too damn solid body...

+vijay pattar I managed opening be520. 740 should be similar, it's not too difficult. I kept the power bank between my feet, length wise. Then I kept screw driver edge in the joint and tapped it with a heavy plier. After a few hard taps the screw driver managed to pry open the power bank.

I do not remember how it was. If just soldering came off, you should be able to fix it. If you broke something, you may have to find a similar port at the electronics component store and solder a new port. I hope you are into soldering and such stuff.

There isn't really a way to find out when we are buying online. I just make sure I buy from a trusted seller hoping that trusted sellers do not sell fake products as they can not afford to take risk. I buy such things only from Cloudtail India which is a joint venture of Amazon.

bro m planning to buy pny power bank, but confuded with port,whether to go for dual or single usb.. ll u suggest plz? And also how much time it takes to charge andriod phone fully

One or two usb ports depends on your use Rahul. If your only need is to charge a single phone, one port is enough. I carry multiple devices and frequently need to charge two or more at the same time, so I went for two ports. If you frequently charge your phone and tab at the same time, go for two ports. These are backup chargers, so it is best to use them in case of need rather than everytime. Time to fully charge depends on your phone battery capacity. BE740/520 typically are supplying around 1 amp, so it will take atleast 3 hours to fully charge a phone with 3000mAh battery. AK6k/10K/13K are supplying around 1.5 amp, so they will take around 2 hours to fully charge the same battery.

Shouldn't be a problem. I use 2 amp chargers with all my phones which are older and lower end models compared to k5 and I did not face any issues.

They say Yes. Works. But after the phone is charged, the power bank does not. Ideally the power bank should take the charge after the phone charging is complete.

Brand is good. But as I said in the video go for the older model(10400 mah, amzn.to/2gRleAb) if you are ok with one usb port. This 10000 mah(amzn.to/2gRkxqw) one is on the larger side. I have both and both work well for charging.
