Wow, some of you people are just plain mean! If you really do except her to send everyone a letter back, that would be crazy. I think it's amazing that she even did it for one year. Yes she may do hauls all the time, but if she spends that money on sending letters then you're just going to complain that she doesn't do enough hauls! I have never seen her say "SEND ME THINGS LITTLE GIRLS OR ELSE" So calm down people and leave her alone, because if you don't have one thing to complain about, it's another!

Stop with all the hate. The video is her thank you. It is very expensive to send letters, especially to other countries. One handwritten letter takes at least 5 minutes. Take about 100-200 of those It would take about 20 hours or more. Not to mention about $3-$4 for each letter WITHIN Canada with the stamps, the envelopes, and the stationary. With most people out of the country that's like literally almost $2,000. Even people who aren't struggling don't want to spend this much money. Sammi, you are beautiful and perfect. Ignore the hate! I love you, I will be sending you something soon!

If you have been watching sam for long enough you would know that she is very grateful for everything that comes in her po box, she reads every letter, finds a use for every gift. And she shows your letters on a video, just to know she got it would be enough for me?? She never asked you guys to send her anything? It was your choice to send her a letter or package, like she said its very expensive, especially people that live outside of canada, she must of spent a fortune on letters in 2012! And she has also said in many videos lately she has been very busy and its a stressful time for sam. And letters are very time consuming. It will take less time to close out this video and ignore it than it will to complain about a stupid letter back.

Personally i dont think its rude that she isn't deciding to reply to all the letters because of the time/costs... a lot of youtubers have PO Boxes and don't even do these pobox videos, she is atleast acknowledging the people who are sending her these things, not through a personal letter but on video... if it were me i'd be more excited to have my letter and name mentioned in a video then through a letter response. Other youtubers have requested for their viewers to send in a stamped envelope if they want a response, maybe she can suggest doing that.

Sending letters definately gets expensive! Everyone who has sent her things are very sweet, but if she cannot afford to send something back then leave it at that! who's going to give her that money to send tons of letters? you? no, i don't think so. im sure she is also a human being who has other bills to take care of especially since she just bought a house. What's with all the negative comments on this video? Makes no sense.... How are you getting the thought that she's asking people to send her stuff.. "Want to send me something?" < pretty sure that's a question so meaning you don't HAVE to but if you want to heres where to send it.... and as for her not responding, it seems pretty reasonable.. common she lives a normal life, she works a daily job and everything, so the time for her to respond to everyone that sends her something is a little unrealistic. And plus the prices in Canada to send letters and stuff is drastically higher than anywhere else. Calm down people. You all need a little lesson on manners.

When you get as many letters as she does, and they're all from different countries it becomes really expensive. Go see how much just 5 out of country letters would cost you and then think about it. Sam works hard for her money, why should she have to restrict herself when SHE is the one who goes to work every day to make her living. She is a good person and she really truly is grateful for everything she gets and you can tell.... and she has a use for everything she buys, and if she doesn't she donates her clothes to the less fortunate.. she is hardly a hoarder, and I think if you had a good paying career you'd treat yourself for your hard work too.

I do work hard and I repay myself with stuff but, I don't turn my house into a junkyard closet. I could run off a list of shit she hoards -Hello Kitty stuff -Hockey stuff Like what do those collections benefit you in the future? You spent probably more than 500 bucks on and it sits there untouched. I understand the hockey one kinda but the hello kitty is so pointless. -Makeup (her endless amount of lip glosses and eyeshadows/glitters etc) -Clothes (She purchases all these clothing items and leaves them untouched for so long because she has all this other stuff to wear once first and then keep it to never touch again) -Candles (who seriously needs like 50 fucking candles that are about 20-30 bucks each?) -Hats (She hardly wears even half of them) -Hair accessories (Again, doesn't even touch half of them) -Decor for her room like a furbie and a barbie radio toy etc I could go on forever dude. She is a hoarder and the majority of her subscribers knows this. I am a true fan of her but lately she's changed so much and don't give me the "If you were a true fan you would agree with everything she does" "don't watch her if you don't like her" I've been around for 4 years, if you've been around for about that long, you would be bothered by it too.

I actually agree with Sam. It is time consuming to write back all the letters. And it would cost a lot for mailing every single person sending letters, especially out of the country. I think for her it is easier to email them instead of mailing it, if she wants to. But that's up to her to decide whether to reply to them or not, not you. I'm just saying. Dearest Samantha, I'm not quite sure if you'll see this but I love watching your videos you are so feminine and girlie. I love how you don't get discouraged and you have that air of confidence because it's so important. I read a book called The Four Agreements and one section in there it talks about how when people are mean or negative and that when they reflect that onto someone it's really them looking into a mirror speaking about themselves because you are never supposed to use your words in that manner. I believe the section was Be Impeccable with your Words... Anyways I love how you encourage girls to remain themselves and not to feed into what many have. No matter what negative comments you get your positivity is always bigger and I'm sure much more appreciated. You're awesome and sometimes you have to sit and think if the people who were saying negative or mean things were in your position would they even be sitting there taking their time to be mean. It seems very ungrateful of you to not answer the people that spend their own (or in what seems to be a lot of cases here, their parents' own) money and take the time to let you know either by a letter or a gift how much just watching your KZbin videos have effected their lives. You say it is too expensive, but you could cut out just one trip to the mall a month and buy a whole lot of stamps. Even if it was just a couple of handwritten lines, at least the people sending you things would feel like they are appreciated. I've seen all the comments both here and on Instagram of the young girls that worship you...you see how you reacted to getting that jersey? That's how they would feel just seeing a letter from you in their mailbox..just some food for thought.

It IS time consuming though. And remember, it was lots of different people who sent it to her, but she is just one person. And the year before that last she was not as popular as she is now, so it would have been easier to write to everyone back, but now she has a larger fan base. You're not complaining about anyone else not sending their viewers letters back. It was their choice in the first place to send it, and I don't think they do it JUST so she would reply, but they do it to tell Sam how much they appreciate her.

I very much agree. She opened the jersey and was extremely pleased with what she saw. How can you TAKE but not feel the need to RETURN a simple thank you .. If she CAN'T afford to give back she simply should not take anything from these girls in the first place. Simply don't advertise a PO box. I completely agree with xTatSplatx. She is not that famous not have like millions of letters. Like Pewdiepie for example. And there are so many other beauty gurus who are sooooo much more popular and take the time to answer their fans, even if it is a printed letter of thank you! If you make much money to go shopping almost everyday, obviously, money is not an issue. And as far as time is concerned, it's not like all the other youtubers just sit on their butts. When people get a little bit popular and devote their time to many different things, they forget how they used to be and become selfish. xTatSplatx Nat Con I don't agree with any of you. I am the one who sent her the Jersey, and I sent it to her because I wanted to... not because I expected anything in return. If you're giving gifts because you expect something back then you're not giving it for a good reason. Sam has other bills, she just got a new house, AND is renovating it, and has SO many letters. All those letters she got aren't even the end of it... she is still constantly getting letters in her P.O. Box and they build up and you expect her to reply to every one all the time??... do you realize how overwhelming that can be?? and can actually be dangerous for the muscles in your hand..You can get carpal tunnel from that... and she obviously needs her hands for her job. You act like it's so easy to sit there and write out responses by hand to every single person when she has a FULL TIME job AND does KZbin..... She probably wouldn't even get finished writing all of the letters until the end of the month, and then when she did get finished she would have a whole new pile waiting in the mail box... you don't know her and you dont know her life so why talk shit and watch her vids. Move on, it's not that big of a deal.

The girl was from Switzerland. I think accidentally showing her address isn't going to cause a problem. Plus, Sam said if the senders didn't want their addresses showing, she wouldn't show them. So the girl must not have cared.

First thing she said was that she would not show things with addresses on them, (and also said she would not show whatever was in the box/envelope if the sender wrote she/he didn't want her/his gift to be shown). Addresses should never be shown in any case, there are a lot of people watching this video from Europe and definitely from Switzerland, so yes, it could be a problem!

I really don't want to be rude or offend you in any way, but colleen (Miranda Sings) takes the time to write every one of her fans back and she has 781,580 subscribers. It is completely up to you but if I was in your position and didn't have the time to write back I wouldn't have a p.o box. I just think that if you are going to accept peoples gifts you should thank them by giving them something in return even if its just a generic typed letter that you filled in their name. I think it would mean a lot to the girls that look up to you. I hope that you don't take this the wrong way (if you even see it) because I still think you're a great person and I am definitely still going to watch your videos.
