good work, nice camera handling there, visually beautiful.. i think westerns should always be shot on film.. makes the world feel like a cruder environment. the close ups were also very appropriately done the music was a bit off puttingly constant but that was not the case most of the video, interesting dialouges and nicely put us into the middle of it great work brother your work is nice and i hope to see you on the big screen soon enough

Really enjoyed this film, especially as it was shot on film, and not Digital. What camera did you use, how did you go about syncing sound and where was it shot?

Arri sr3. Sound sync was the old fashioned way with clapper board for every take. We shot it in the Topanga/Malibu canyon area.

@@guidedvisionsmedia I was looking for the cheapest location that looked high production value. We found an Airbnb airstream and asked if we could shoot there. Lighting and Grip was a huge favor. When I first moved to LA I did a diner commercial and got along with the Gaffer. He’s older and owns a lighting and grip company, so he told me if I ever needed anything he’d lend is a truck as long as it wasn’t booked. It’s all about networking and maintaining relationships!
