The Way - A Neo-Western Short Film

A telekinetic road trip for an unlikely pair on the run. Think Chronicle but on the road and set in Australia.
A short proof of concept film that was produced with the support of the South Australian Film Corporation, and premiered at the 2018 Adelaide Film Festival.
Currently in Development as a Feature Film.

This was top-tier. The colour-grading was fantastic, the thought process of the cinematography and framing was insanely good. I loved the story, using a known dynamic, but adding a superhero spin on it, absolutely fantastic.

Top shelf execution by all involved! So much relied on the principle actors and they were fantastic. The color/tone was pitch-perfect. The, uh, make-up (?) was great; a sweaty drunk and a grimy woman. It's beautiful when so much story can be told without exposition -- bad guys can be identified by their swagger and the lighting. Finally, a clever use of special effects. High quality results. The story line is reminiscent of, say Firestarter, and a couple others. People with semi-hidden powers on the run. It's a story I never get enough of.
