For DroidStar to sound decent you'll need to install the correct vocoder. A quick google search will get you sorted right out. I use it on my Inrico S200 and it works great, albeit the PTT key isn't recognized by DroidStar.

Thanks Brian, yeah shame you have to tap they screen to Tx, but I guess i need to write down which vocoders I’ve tried. I have installed a couple and most google searches lead back to the same ones just on different sites🤷🏼‍♂️. 73👍
