I live about two and a half hours north of there in Braxton county WV. I've been there quite a few times. Very beautiful place with a lot of history.

I remember taking a camping trip to monongahela national forest many years ago. I passed through so many cool little towns on the way. It's really beautiful country

I remember visiting Cass as a young teen. I begged my parents to stop at Greenbank. I was thrilled when they agreed. Years later I became an electrical engineer and was lucky enough to visit again. This time I got a behind the scenes tour and stood in the dish of the Robert C Byrd telescope just weeks before it was operational. I love steam engines and high tech science. You get both in Pocahontas Co.

Love this video series. I've always been fascinated by West Virginia, the coal mining industry, and the culture and landscape. While I have only had time to explore parts on my own as I don't live there (or nearby anymore), I love getting to explore it virtually through these

I am 27 and looking for a better life, I dont like how our society is heading. I am going to look to move there as I found out cell phones are illegal there
@Commentleaver-c6x2 ай бұрын
Cell phones are only restricted in a small area near green bank, where the telescope is. There’s a good chance you won’t have service in many other parts of the county but that’s just due to the remote, sparsely populated, rugged terrain.

Why not interview the wack-o's that go there to escape cellphone radiation ? I am wanting to escape myself. I have tinnitus.
