I'm on top of world because I found this video and I don't wanna miss the boat in my English. Before I started to study in my own I felt up in the air in this language ,I'm gonna cut to the chase and stop beating around the bush ,you rock..professor. So don't sit tight ,throw caution to the wind and go for it. If you don't wanna lose your touch hang in there 'cause it's crunch time for your life .

I was feeling under the weather then my cousin turned up at home to see me that felt like a blessing in a disguise we watched a movie together and i was on the cloud nine because it was such an amazing movie then we went for shopping at a mall..A hoodie caught my attention but by the time we reached there the ship had sailed because someone had already bought it after that we went to a restaurant there we asked for the menu but the waiter kept beating around the bush.My cousin told me that he had decided to throw caution to the wind by quitting his job and making his carrier in music he asked me why i stay away from social media and all these stuffs i said sometimes Ignorance is bliss. Then he told me that Jessica might like me but i denied it saying he was barking up the wrong tree after spending entirre day together we called it a day.

Hello Teacher Maddy! This is my first time watching a video of yours! I've been able to kill two birds with one stone- by learning English idioms and by having fun watching your videos. I used to wish that I could understand and speak English fluently, but I took it with a grain/pinch of salt; I couldn't understand idioms and only knew what they were when my teacher used the idiom 'don't let the chicken cook halfway', which meant don't do a thing halfway and never complete it or do a different thing. Yet, I continued to speak English more often with my family to improvise and learn new vocabulary and words. When making a short story, I tend to use more special adjectives and verbs to express my story clearly yet interestingly! I have suscribed to your channel! Now I can use my idioms more fluently! I'll let the cat out of the bag for a while- I'm a Malaysian. Thanks for sharing new videos! I'll try to keep in touch and give great comments! See you!

i always loved idioms and phrases since childhood and use it extensively. Video was nicely put. It will also be great if we get to know the reason behind the creation of that idiom. For example: Beat around the bush - hunters used to beat the bush to make the birds reveal itself for hunting; Kick the bucket - Early days this is how people committed suicide etc. 🙂
