Lol, but ye Doug doesn't even specialize in ring games like Mariano and Rampage, and he can still hold his own against them. He plays ring games as an entertainer. However the ultimate test of poker comes when you face a guy one on one to see who got the bragging rights and trash talking rights. And if there were to be a match with at least 15,000 hands played one on one, Doug Polk, with one eye shut would wipe the floor against almost anyone who plays him. (he would by a smaller margin beat all the other guys too with whom he won't wipe the floor). Rampage and Mariano have the perfect aggression and fearlessness in their game and that makes them dominate these tables for sure. Its very hard to judge someone in a live full ring game due to the speed, until they play like at least 30 sessions minimum (approx 200 hands per session)

This really provides nothing of value and idk why i went through the trouble of doing this but with aces in that spot u actually have a 40-50% of chopping or worse (AdKd is a 50.5% of chopping or worse. AdKh is 44% of chopping or worse. AcKd is 44% of chopping or worse. AcKh is 43% of chopping or worse.) idk marianos exact combo but the average is 45% of chopping or worse. Basically the same odds of AKo beating 9s. So at least u can sleep well at night knowing you didnt run horribly bad? Still absolutely insane for mariano and not the jacks to be the one sucking out on you.

This championship that you are going to play is your for the taking. Be humble and patient. Be un predictable. Because most or all these people that are going to be on your table know how you play. So be un predictable. Pick and choose the right moment to play. There is a high probability that you will get quads...If you stay long enough in the game... Go with your gut feeling. Not your head or hart. If you know you got the winner for a very big hand. Then drag the time out to 5 to 10 minutes... I know you like too attack. And I know you like wining.... Drag the game out as long as you can.... Good luck champ...
