I accidentally found this game by looking for a pocket mirror to buy, and this was the first thing that appeared, and I'm so damn glad it did.

Everything about this game stuns me. Although sadly this game never gained popularity, I loved the whole game from beginning to end. The endings were amazing, and the music moved me in many ways. My favourite song so far is Evening Stroll - 3:52 The glitched music combined with a sense of urgency seems perfect for Lisette, and fills you unease put excitement. LOVE THIS GAME EVEN THO i'M LATE BY TWO YEARS

I was very impressed by the game's soundtrack variety, there were many moments in the game I could just stop and listen to the bg tunes. Your tracks are splendid and provided many scenes in the game with lots of visuals to become even more alive! Midnight Circus, is my favorite but I liked all the tracks from Lisette's chapter. I really love Girl's Midnight Secret, and I'm not sure why. Also surprised to hear you don't play the piano. Do you play any instruments, or do you only work digitally? Or in other words, I'd love to hear what your work process is when writing/making these tracks.

cause enjel is a cute i used to play instruments in high school band, and i took piano lessons as a kid! but i don't currently play anything, and don't really have the time to pick up playing. currently i work only digitally, though i may have some collabs in the future with actual guitarists and such when composing, i ask for a lot of references. for characters, i'll usually request color palettes, backstory, some quotes, and bits of the character in action for context. girl's midnight secret had some specific points, such as the music box opening, and the fact that it's a spinoff of the MC's theme. other tracks, such as midnight circus, started from a base melody which i spun into something very different based on what the scene required. faithless was written based on a storyboard of harpae's theater, and oubliette was written with the four-note puzzle in mind, etc

i used to write music in high school but took a break during college. i did vocaloid music a few years ago but everything sounded like game music, so i decided i was probably best off doing that instead. as far as how to get into it, i just asked around... i do happen to know a lot of people who create, so being able to ask around for a reference to a project is the quickest way to find something. other than that, you just have to put yourself out there! volunteer for game jams, projects, and have a nice portfolio of stuff you've done lined up

i usually set anywhere from 2-3 hours each weekday, and anywhere from 3-8 hours on the weekend. an average week will consist of 12-20 hours on top of my dayjob. i'm looking to do more game music for a living in the future along with game dev in general, but right now it's just a hobby! there's plenty of projects in the works. thanks for following and i hope you'll like the stuff coming up too!

It's mainly because I want to play it for myself haha, and reading sheets is easier than playing by ear.
